Kyle Walker to city for 50m, RB has got to be worth as much as that if not more...

Now this would be funny especially if we had a sell on clause. Sadio Mane & Liverpool GdS believe that if Perisic joins Man United, Inter Milan will turn their focus towards Liverpool’s Sadio Mane. Indeed, it’s suggested that the arrival of Mohamed Salah at Anfield is bad news for Mane. But is that true? What seems far likelier is that Salah and Mane will play on opposite flanks for the Reds, while Roberto Firmino will be the striker, supported by Philippe Coutinho. It’s also worth nothing that 25-year-old Mane is under contract at Liverpool until 2021.

Backup plan incase they dont get VV? The Reds defender is the Eagles' no.1 summer target after impressing on loan at Selhurst Park last season, but Liverpool's reported £30m valuation is putting Palace off. And Klopp has suggested that the 27-year-old, who he fell out with last summer, could be part of his pre-season plans. Sakho was not part of the Reds squad which beat Tranmere Rovers 4-0 in their first pre-season friendly but when asked if he could take part in other friendlies, Klopp said: "First of all he needs to get 100% fit and then we will see." plan

Theres been a lot of debate about whether Everton are better than us. looking at perspective line ups I'd say not. Forster Pickford Soares Van Dijk Yoshida Bertrand Coleman Williams Keane Baines Romeu Davies Klaassen Schneiderlin Gueye Boufal Ramirez Giroud Onyekuru Redmond Tadic Gabiadini

Now has a pro contract. Nathan Tella has put pen to paper on his first professional contract as a Southampton player, just months after joining after a successful trial period following his Arsenal departure.

Hopefully the return to the high pressing game will work in Longs favour, thats certainly his strong point. Seems to be very keen to get going this season to. Long was amongst the first batch of players to report back to Staplewood Campus for the start of pre-season under Mauricio Pellegrino. And the Irishman is keen to use the early stages of the campaign to impress the new boss. “For me, last season was a bit disappointing,” he continued. “I didn’t play as much as I would have liked to and felt I didn’t get the chances that I deserved at times, so I want to hit the ground running this year. “It’s the first pre-season in a long time that I’ve been here from the start, so I want to show the manager what I have got and leave an impression on him come the start of the season.”

Nathaniel Chalobah in talks with Watford as Chelsea prospect wants Prem game time. I thought he looked really good in the U21 championships. Saints should go for him I reckon.

Can you still get your season ticket discount even though we haven't received them yet?
-
Also signing loads of players and then sending them out on loan. Which can also have an effect on who we sign. I believe Arsenal had something like 24 players out on loan....
-
He looks very good. What did also impress me from this video is how quickly Aalves were pressing the ball, that'll be huge relief after last year....
-
Just watching a video of Davy Klaassen who's about to sign for Everton but couldn't help thinking how bad the Eredivisie looks which makes him look ok. I thought I'd check out a Clasie video from the Eredivisie for a comparison and he looks 100 times better, shame we haven't seen him replicated it here.
-
I remember the Villa fans slagging him off and were glad we took him off their hands.

Not going to happen. Tom Heaton and Jack Butland set to share goalkeeper duties at the Stade De France for the Three Lions. Looks like Southgate's sussed him out!

Hopefully Lovern will put in a similar performance on the 7th against us as he did yesterday. Analysing the game for NBC Sports last night, Middlesbrough legend Robbie Mustoe scathed: "Dejan Lovren is a liability. He was a big part of both goals conceded. He gambled and went in lazily for the goals, and was at fault for both". Ex-Reds John Arne Riise and Jamie Carragher also joined in the barracking: * Riise: "Lovren was poor on defending the ball in behind. The marking wasn't there in the box". * Carra: “Lovren’s involvement in both goals—both times, he tries to knick the ball [and misses]. [He should] read the situation and know whether to dive in, and he got it wrong on both occasions.”

Citeh haven't even had 6 clean sheets this season, maybe we'll score even without Gabbi. Top Clean Sheets In 2016/17 So Far Chelsea Thibaut Courtois 13 Tottenham Hotspur Hugo Lloris 12 Manchester United David de Gea 11 Southampton Fraser Forster 11 Stoke City Lee Grant 9 Everton Joel Robles 9 Burnley Tom Heaton 9 Arsenal Petr Cech 8 Middlesbrough Victor Valdes 8 Bournemouth Artur Boruc 6 Its also good to see Forster up there with 11 even though we've had a (supposedly) **** season.

Silly thought probably but with Arsenal seemly imploding at the moment could be possibly catch them, they're on the same points as Everton (two games in hand but one against us)???

The possibilities are endless:- Les Reed went to Naples to buy a Lamborghini, Instead he bought a striker, his name is Gabbiadini. Les Reed went to Scotland to buy a mountain bike, Instead he bought a centre back his name is Virgil van Dijk. Les Reed went to Tokyo to buy a Toshiba, Instead he bought a centre back, his name is Yoshida

This is the Koeman team that lost up there a couple of seasons ago, I wonder if Puels far less superior team can do better. 1 Davis 2 Clyne 6 Fonte 3 Yoshida 21 Bertrand 12 Wanyama 17 Alderweireld 7 Long 16 Ward 10 Mané 19 Pellè

Theres no point play three at the back as Wetspam only play with one CF. I'd love top see (but it wont happen) Forster Cedric Yoshi Stephens Betrand Romeu Hojbjerg Boufal Barry Tadic Shlong wetsham full backs are hopeless so cedric Barry tadic and Bertrand could have a field day.

Hard to believe but apparently were the joint 4th in top pressing teams according to this article. http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/762674/Premier-League-stats-pressing-teams-Premier-League-ranked-sportgalleries

Good read:- http://www.italianfootballdaily.com/one-got-away-southamptons-manolo-gabbiadini/ I'm looking forward to Boufal and him together. If only Tadic could find some form.

Southampton have reached a personal term agreement with Manolo Gabbiadini and are working to strike a deal with Napoli for the signing of the striker, according to Italian outlet Calcio Mercato. http://www.insidefutbol.com/2017/01/26/southampton-reach-personal-term-agreement-with-west-brom-target/323437/

Senegal won every one of the qualification games, only team to do so so I think there's a good chance they'll qualify for the next round :-)
