What hardware was Keith running on back on S4E? Things seemed to run a lot smoother back then than they do now, and it was busier and the forum had no income other than donations.

Ricardo Fuller. Rory Delap.

To do a what with a what?

You downloaded two for me and they never bloody worked

The board and manager. He was sick of it here. You could tell by his whole attitude towards the end. In the state things were I really don't blame him, but having a massive personality isn't a trait I would say Oakley had - which is what we could do with.
-
Oakley only played well for those teams because he had the full support of everyone. Here he became completely anonymous as soon as things started to heat up - then he f*cked off.

Lets get Claus Lundekvam back.

Found one!

http://www.newzbin.com/browse/post/5827828/ PFFFTTTT WHY? WHY would I want a 55GB saving private ryan? So I scroll on! Oh that one looks perfect. Oh no, its in german. I scroll on.

1.4GB - OK that's great thank you. Still seems a lot more hunting around than http://www.torrentz.eu > Forrest Gump > http://www.monova.org/torrent/500885/FORREST_GUMP_-_1994.html - 700MB I shall continue to try and be converted though!
-
that's 5GB!

f*ck off. Oh it's been done.

Baj, lets assume one wanted to download Forrest Gump. A nice easy film that the majority of people have seen and thought it was good. Could you do me a massive favour and go to download said film? As I've spent 15 minutes now looking for a DVD version of the film rather than a blu-ray copy meaning that the file size should be under or around 1GB. Can I find one? No I can't. It would have taken me about 10-15 seconds to find and start the download using a torrent. I've typed Forrest Gump into newzbin, run a search. A majority have foreign flags next to them so I ignore them. I looked through. Couldn't find it in less than nearing 2GB in size. I put it into ascending order. Also couldn't find it. What am I doing wrong?

I enabled SSL but it wouldn't download with it. I'll have a look into that tonight. I'm on the 256 Encryption one with 20 connections so it should work! I found a program called unzbin which is identical to utorrent just for handling .nzb files so fingers crossed this should do the job for me!
-
do you use Server: news.giganews.com (North America) or news-europe.giganews.com (Europe) Baj?
-
Misleading title IMO.
-
Is there not a little program like utorrent that can deal with the downloads? SABnzbd doesn't float my boat. I tried it last night. It feels sluggish as it doesn't realtime update how much you've downloaded without refreshing. It also runs through your web browser so its hard to keep an eye on it - I'd rather have a little program that deals with it. I'll perhaps give the one Baj recommended a go. Still resent paying for it though! It's ugly as f*ck too.
-
It's been fairly obvious to me ever since the paying system was introduced that a lot of posters struggled to way up the odds between paying to post on an internet forum, or not. I think those who paid, most paid reluctantly (I know I did) so now for the forum to be crashing all the time, it will be a lot more reluctant next time, that's if they bother.

Doesn't sound too bad then. You don't win them all. Can't settle for anything but wins for the next couple of games though - not even a draw!

I'm with them *high five* Their service has been pretty good actually. I've hit a cyclist and gone into the back of two people and they've been really helpful.
