Provides some comfort in that we really should stay up and you can ease the worry by a small, or otherwise, bet (I've had a sneaky tenner at 40/1 with Bet365 after Saturday's result, which I really hope loses). The other reason is that it helps put into some perspective our real chances. The bookies analysis these things unemotionally and not like some of the "wrist-slitters" on here.

still available at 33/1 with at least 3 bookies and most round 25/1

Getting the wobbles a bit. the bookies still think we'll be ok but just to be sure just had a tenner at 40/1 with Bet365 so we'll definitely be ok now !!

Has he had ears straightened/pegged back? Watching Soccer am - looks more normal than he used to?

Done - looks like you will get a fair response. Same as The9 - Not sure how you will analyse and quantify the responses to the "open" questions.

Players who impressed you in the lower leagues who haven't progressed.

Odds against - around 9/4 - so with the bookies margins taken out I reckon about a 20 to 25% chance of achieving this. Would be great if we could though ...

Norwich for me. Always had a soft spot after Mick Channon went there and won the League Cup. Great loyal support in the lower leagues (though I guess there's f@ck all else to do there!).

Anyone feeling wimpy and nervous could "hedge" these nerves by a bet on Saints being relegated at current prices or 22/1 at Ladbrokes or 28/1 on Betfair. If you really think we're still in the sh* t then there's a way out but come on the bookies know what's what. I, for one, am looking up the table and at what could be a tasty double on a bet placed before the season started on Pompey for relegation at 5/1 and Saints for a top 10 finish at 10/1 ... £1320 for £20 if this comes off!

... but I don't think the charges will stick even though she doesn't have a leg to stand on! http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/nation/superglue-poured-into-eyes-during-brawl/story-e6frg6nf-1226610985197 Superglue 'poured into eyes' during brawl A VICTORIAN man had superglue poured into his eyes and an ear and was bashed with a prosthetic leg during an argument with his housemate. The 64-year-old man and the 58-year-old woman became involved in a heated argument at a Sebastopol house on Sunday evening. The woman allegedly tried to strangle the man before pouring superglue in his eyes and one ear, Senior Sergeant Paul Kinna said. Sgt Kinna said the woman is also accused of trying to set fire to the man and striking him with her prosthetic leg. The man was taken to Ballarat Base Hospital, before being transferred to Melbourne's Eye and Ear Hospital in a stable condition. The woman has been charged with three offences, including one count of reckless conduct endangering life.

Same problem. Shame it was an excellent picture on the iPad

I have a mate who gave up on Saints back in 2005 and switched allegiance. Now claims he supports both clubs. I think this is a bit like bigamy. I think it's alright to have a soft spot for another club (bit like having a fling) but this behaviour just isn't on and is criminal.

I have an Internet radio and a DAB radio. Far prefer the Internet radio - its great fun. Also I don't think our digital signal is that great so that is another factor..

April 1st would have certain appropriateness and would be good fun ...

Agree totally.
-
A combination of both.
-
Played well today I understand.
-
Whilst I disagree with overall sentiment of the OP, I think he might have a point about J Rod being played wide - it was the best I have seen from him today and I think this was, in part, to him being played as CF.

Best performance of the season for me. Even better than Man City. Everyone great. Cork MOTM for me but understand you could put up any of them!
-
I think Shaw, Clyne, Lallana and Cork will have all impressed Roy. Rickie was good but not outstanding today IMO.

Both ... I look up the table to see how far up we could finish ... ... but forever looking over the shoulder to check the gap!
