These players really were part of something extraordinarily special.

He has given us the definition of quickness by which all players for the rest of time will be gaged

Any vids etc from the walk around - loads last year nothing this
-
Not seen any threads about the walk around the pitch yesterday but hope he got a decent send off. Great bloke and sparks of footballing genius will always be haunted by his defending at FP ( in the same way that my memories of Claus will always be ever so slightly tinged)

Saints 1 Manchester Utd 1 - Post Match Reaction
sussexsaint replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
It has been an utter pleasure to follow our club this season, very proud of our owners, our players, our academy, our youth, our back room staff and our fans. On all levels we have shown class and dignity Followed this team for 40 years and can honestly say that this has been the proudest I have ever been. More to come in the World Cup It's been a pleasure to share it with you Cheers -
true but still a chance to say goodbye and thanks

That is utterly wonderful, in fact that whole film is a work of barely equalled genius - so many wonderful lines and vignettes - the fact that it enraged the church was just an added bonus. 'he has a wife you know?'

Still would

ummm...... bit odd timing all wrong on the fan chanting 'the world has ever seen' -
How F******g gutted must these clubs be that they didn't think to buy him and his upcoming compatriots when we were in league 1

Think that would be confusing and misleading -
Just re bought levelling the land by the levellers. Not the sort of music I usually listen to but it was a big part of my first few years at Uni and it is a bloody great album with some fantastic tracks. Finally getting my vinyl digitised

Just got 2 tickets for me and my boy. Really quite excited about this. A massive part of my youth and nice to share it with another generation. Yes it was pricey but unlikely to happen again. Anyone else going ?

Guly pretty much confirms he is leaving Saints this summer

Great video great memories great player, good luck Guly -
Absolutely wonderful photography, would love to spend a day shadowing one of them at the ground. Would learn a ton.

Oh an WHAT a midfield we have now !
-
This absolutely - solid dependable, unspectacular workmanlike and professional. Every team needs players like this. This generations Matt Oakley

Not sure I want to see carrie in a gold bikini again, however big an effect it had on teenage me

I really want it to be great. I will see it, buy the blu ray and get merch just because it was such a massive part of my childhood. Unfortunately it will fail precisely because if that, it holds a disproportionately high level of esteem amongst fans that I feel is beyond almost any script. Interesting to see if they go with the clone emperor story lines from the books. Watched number 4 with my nipper the other day and the acting is just awful. I still love it and don't regret being stood inthe playground wrapped in a bin liner with a loo roll being asthmatic, but Harrison ford must look back and cringe.

Great gOal on the plastic pitch against Luton though.
