The Sunday Times - Southampton put up for sale at £250m
Toussaint replied to The Odd Guy's topic in The Saints
Do you have a list of people who don't post much but when the do it really wasn't worth waiting for? If so, am I on it? -
Something to build on, we can make a determined push for top spot when we are allowed back. I'm not sure about the hooligans champions league though, think we will be out of our depth in parts of Europe. But at least we will be able to attract better hooligans when they realise we are serious about this. We March On!

Internet search has drawn a blank, other than Transfermarkt stating he has been injured for 700 plus days?
-
As it stands similar to last season, but I have no idea how good , bad or indifferent the new signings will be, so, shouldn't be worse than last season, could be better.

Consequence of yesterday’s horror show?

Wow, thanks for the heads up on Prince Phillip!

see the main transfer thread, meltdowns and squabbles galore

Sounds like Redmond

I'd say he's finished, happy to be proved wrong, don't think I will be.

If anyone cannot see the blatant social engineering pervading every aspect of our lives then they could more accurately be described as a mug, or worse.

Absolutely, in my simple football brain I like to see a player who’s first thought is to move or carry the ball forward, that’s what Armstrong has bought to us. From the YouTube clip it seems RLC has the same philosophy. I’m not entirely sure what Redders brings, but his game should benefit massively once he knows he’s not an automatic selection.

Its like a bigger hand with shorter fingers but at the end of your leg instead of your arm, trust this clears things up a bit?

Going to football is one of the few things that get me though winter. If you'd asked me a couple of weeks ago I wouldn't have been too worried, now Id love to go for a few pints, bit of lunch and off to the game.

There maybe some "badly run clubs" out there, but in these circumstances ,completely losing your income is beyond anyone's control. Talking of pissing your money up the wall, there for the grace of God (Marcus) go us., we could easily have ended up in the situation. I do believe the whole of football top down should be forced to be sustainable based on sustainability.

Just like furlough and the emergency loans. On the one hand I feel more money should trickle down but on the other it would probably just lead to hyper inflation in those leagues, unless there were strict rules on salary caps, transfer budgets etc. Longer term there must be a better way, but right now I don’t want to see a single club fold, even Pompey. The thing to remember is the PL does still have a strong revenue stream, the lower leagues have almost nothing.

Or a good warm and stable spring followed by a warm summer with greater opportunity pollination with less wind and rain damage to blossoms. I had a bumper year of cooking apples, that's a sign, I sign of many apple crumbles to come.

Was Hoijburg ( don’t know how to spell it) more influential than we gave him credit for?
