  1. I was not aware of that.
  2. Do you know his father was a professional football manager, Northampton I think.
  3. Hope its not
  4. I’ll take one, or two, big supporter of charity me, not a dirty old letch at all.
  5. I’d have all 3 before Martin.
  6. I don't disagree with you, what I said and what you said aren't mutually exclusive.
  7. Is it a delay, are they taking too long? I don’t think it is. It was probably a late decision to sack Still. Then the process begins, sound out targets, receive applications from others, people decline interviews, people don’t interview well, people interview well but decide it’s not for them for any number of reasons. The main players are divided on who they would like… the permutations are endless. I think we are in reasonably capped hands with our interim manager and if it takes time to get the right man, so be it.
  8. In response to your point, “why sack Still”, I think they have been vindicated in that decision, we were hovering just above relegation, in terminal decline and there is no guarantee or way of knowing that still would have won those last two games, despite the widely held belief he would have done. Things must have been broken beyond repair behind the scenes.
  9. Tulip Suddiq?
  10. I called that last week, itk me.
  11. Fans will be divided regardless, I’m really not keen on Viera.
  12. He’s a delivery driver for B and Q, I don’t see the significance?
  13. In his defence, Robinson was done in and Scienza injured, we were 2 - 0 up at that point and should have closed the game out comfortably until Baz’s howler. At that point we were left with no out. Unfortunate I’d say, unless you believe he bought it on himself by playing Baz.
  14. it would be one that didn't pay wages.
  15. I've heard his preferred formation is 7 3 1 - with 5 cb's, he was a frequent visitor to Epstein Island - allegedly (or it could have been Hayling Island, I always get those two mixed up, but that's not the point), he sold state secrets to China, he hates kittens and small children and he used to play for Portsmouth.
  16. I think it will be Toll, Eckhart Tolle, I'm told SR are great admirers of his philosophy.
  17. Ask the Rangers fans if this was a quality of note during his time there.
  18. Yes, I think I can. The process is being hampered by the managers we want rolling on the floor laughing hysterically when approached by us, the managers we don't want are banging on he door and engineering dubious press leaks.
  19. To the "supporter" sitting one row in front of me last night. He was in a rage from 5 minutes before kick off and spent the time screaming maniacal profanities at the players with, an extra focus on AA. If I thought he had reached his maximum apoplexy during the game I was wrong, it went up by a factor of 10x when we dared to win the match and the players who came over to thank the fans. I would suggest to him, and anyone else who feels that way when Saints manner of victory does not meet with their standards, that the underlying rage inducing issues are actually nothing to do with Southampton FC. Yours truly, Noddy
  20. I will accept it and support it, pretty much because that's all I can do. I shall continue to go home and away and do my best to enjoy it. If it turns out badly I will bitch and moan, but will attend home and away for the remainder of the season. We really don't have any control or influence over whoever is appointed, and even if we got Klopp or Pep it would still divide fans.
  21. With stars like that our data obsessed directors will give him a ten year deal.
  22. Saints win tonight
  23. Amateurism strikes again… at the ground… The stewards have just said the Saints coach has only just arrived, they were about to delay kick off!!!!
  24. You know that already? Don’t feel sorry for us btw.
