I don't get all the negativity towrds Bednarek and Stephens, they were a CB pairing in far more successful past Saints teams. They will be one of the strongest championship pairings this season IMO. We really missed Stephens last season, again in my humblest of opinions.

If it’s not Charlie Daniels, but that was a cracking guess, that leads me to conclude it must be Charlie Drake? What do I win?

I'd prefer him to stay, even if he reviewed the situation in January if we are not heading in the right direction.

Lots of effort and energy to a point, I actually forgot he was playing in the second half. I keep willing him to do well but he remains ineffective. Still hoping he turns a corner.

My only reservation is I think our more skilful players are going to get kicked to crap this season and I’m not sure the refs are up to it or care that much.

Does he even want to go there? I’d say he’d probably hoped for something better, probably nearer to his home and a more professional outfit than WHU.

I wouldn’t like to lose Che, is aggression and dynamism bought the game back to life, along with Stu’s introduction, a long time favourite of mine, who id also really like to stay. Really hope your right re JWP

That's very similar to what I had to do, only it wasn't an aubergine, I don't really want to talk about that part. That was two weeks ago and I still haven't had my membership card or made privy to any secrets, I'm starting to feel a bit of a fool!

Possibly, but they also had to endure a lot off the field last season with our absolutely dreadful succession of managers, it must have been demoralising beyond belief. I hear there is a real buzz around the place now with the new management structure in place.
