  1. I’m not sure I can face it.
  2. Football is a significant part of our collective lives, hence we engage with this forum. Football takes a lot of emotional and financial investment. Whilst it has a not life or death, it still is important to those invested, naturally people are reacting. I’m not sure who has lost their grip?
  3. It feels very different. I feel very disconnected from the club, (and top level football in general), a club that has been part of my life since 1977. There are a number of reasons for this, our club as been and is being diabolically run, it’s very hard to connect with modern players, the social and quasi political stances that the premier league and all those associated with it feel the need to signal ( I go to football for a blow out, not to be reminded of the perceived wrongs of the world), the massive disparity between the spending power of clubs, the total disregard for ffp ….I could go on. I’m hoping the championship will be a breath of fresh air in some respects, but I don’t really see the point in getting promoted again unless someone takes responsibility to level up the playing field in the premier league.
  4. I’d rather have Black Eric, and I’m not even sure such a person exists.
  5. I’m not sure we are going to stay up, it’s looking a bit dicy now.
  6. He did have a poor game, but he looked way way off match fit and should have been pulled at half time.
  7. I said before kick off but d have preferred Bree
  8. Who’s also made of glass
  9. AMN lost his man twice in successive attacks
  10. That’s ok, would have preferred Bree to AMN other than that it’s ok. Maybe he finally looked at the table?
  11. Preceding the execution
  12. I think Brighton walked out thinking the game was won, it’s very hard to break bout of that mindset in-game. An early goal could change that, but I see Everton being very hard to break down from this position.
  13. Because I really enjoy my Liverpool weekends, it’s (was) the one thing softening the blow of our inevitable relegation
  14. I think he’s made a huge difference, every time I’ve seen Everton they’ve give 100% for the whole match. He’s got them fitter as well. We don’t look fit and I can’t recall us leaving everything on the pitch at any stage this season.
  15. Dodged 2 bullets, Dyche and Eddie Howe. We are way to good for them, glad we went the routes we did.
  16. Can, but probably won’t.
  17. I sort of hope we win our last 3 and stay up, but In reality I hope we don’t, there is so much change required that probably the only way it will come about is through relegation. Just imagine how insufferable the arseholes who run our club would be if we performed a “great escape” Rasmus congratulating himself on his “breaking” something, the continuation of the signing hi risk players for potential profit. Possibly even the continuation of the god awful Selles. We are currently a mess of a club, an embarrassment and a bit of a laughing stock amongst people involved in the game. So bollocks to this lot, players and management alike. Bollocks to Rambo, Semenns, the players who haven’t put in the effort or shown courage under fire, the dreadful Selles. Special shout out to Semmens for focusing on Wokery while Rome burned and finding this shower to take over the club. Oh, and one other thing, bollocks to our ticketing policy of getting bums on seats by any means resulting in the proliferation of away fans and football tourists in home areas, and another bollocks to the minimal away allocations we take up and the favourable treatment of away fans
  18. You don’t understand, we didn’t lose any games 9-0. I call that mission accomplished!
  19. Had to be wolves home, the game was won, Jones then managed to un-win it by going ultra negative, (there is a recurring theme here - looking at you Rasmus)! against 10 men. It was a critical part of the season, we could have pushed on from there, instead we allowed Wolves some breathing space, as we have done with all of the other relegation contenders, except Leicester.
  20. La Mula Obstinada!
  21. There’s a Netflix box set to be made there!
  22. He who must be obeyed versus He who must (also) be obeyed, would be a far more exciting watch than anything on the pitch!
  23. Good shout Mislav!
  24. Two good things about this game:- It's on Monday night, so can't ruin the whole effin' weekend The other two of the bottom 3 will have already played, and hopefully have lost, which will give Selles the added incentive to keep it tight, play without a striker, go a goal or two down, bring on either defensive minded players or completely ineffective players, and not lose by too heavy a margin, while most importantly sticking to his principles whilst we meekly surrender. Winner Winner, we march on
  25. So who do we need to kill this time to avoid relegation? Happy to draw up a shortlist.
