The way he plays, he reminds me a bit of VVd, obviously not as good but similar type of player. Looks dominant and exactly what we need, get him in.

It's a no real loss situation. He is either a good signing, or an inexpensive squad player. He could be at the club for a few years, not really contribute and we'd still get £10m for him...like the fact he should be able to come in and hit the ground running. Does this signal the end for Prowsey though? Would be a shame.

If it's a loan, I can't see him coming to sit on the bench...also can't see City letting him go permanently, unless he doesn't fit the "Pep way" but would surely cost quite a chunk?!

Not really the point, we were utter sh!t last season and only going in one direction without some serious improvements in players. Plus they're not about to sell their best player either... We need some quality in the side, and there are very little rumours to suggest thats on the way...

We should be trying to slim the squad down in the more bloated areas and getting rid of the players who are not going to be good enough next year - there are enough. and focus on bringing in quality and keeping our best players. Tadic is probably our best player, he should not be going anywhere unless it's for ridiculous money. They're all good enough to be squad players and surely cheaper to have these as squad players than pricey transfers. You could also add Reed and McQueen into that list. Reed I think i'd probably try and sell if he's not going to be 4th choice...and sell one of McQueen / Targett depending on Bertrand situation
