  1. If you had the choice now you'd probably pick West Ham...richer, bigger club, bigger stadium, more potential short term, building something with a decent manager and not afraid to spend some money, but surely they wouldn't be able to afford him just by FFP.
  2. Well Lemina isn't going to go for less than £50m I would have thought, and pretty sure there's no way West Ham could afford that after the amount they've already spent.
  3. Still need a CB and a ST, and arguably another wide player...work to be done...
  4. City win the league Saints 14-17th. Leak too many goals and struggle to score West Ham / Wolves best of the rest Liverpool challenge for the title and win a trophy
  5. Probably dont want to take the same risk...
  6. Similar to you then
  7. Alan Nixon is normally pretty much spot on too when he's talking transfers.
  8. Probably also difficult as none of them are confirmed good enough for the prem, and are all on prem wages...not many clubs abroad can afford to pay that kind of money for these players so they'd be reluctant to go, hence the loans. The club is now paying for 4 dreadful transfer windows in a row.
  9. Would happily take Origi, Welbeck or Batshuayi
  10. Ah...my mistake, I read it as Southampton and Newcastle both interested in Origi and Ings
  11. Not sure if credible, bearing in mind the Ings link.
  12. Origi linked, I'd take him for sure,
  13. I'd look to bring in another starting CB and lose Stephens. Vestergaard, New, Hoedt, Yoshida, Bednarek as the 5.
  14. Whole thing was odd, does this mean we're back in for Gibson? Slightly strange it was reported that Gibson and Marlon were all but signed, and both have now gone silent
  15. Apparently turned down the option to manage Spain in the WC too.
  16. Think some people are overating Antonio on here. I wouldn't be afraid if he was lining up against us.
  17. Think he'd be ok, despite his lack of footballing ability. We don't have anyone with pace and offers something in the air.
  18. But surely if we sell him for £18m, we get more than if we sell him for £10m - regardless of sell on clause. It was a dreadful deal for Saints financially.
  19. Well I’d probably let Gabbi go back to Italy, let Long go, and bring in a striker better than any others.
  20. Would be no surprise and don’t think we’d really miss him. As long as we bring in a top level starter...our squad is bloated
  21. Rodwell has got karma, gambled his career by going to sit on the bench for a big club, didn’t play, joined a **** team and had a few **** seasons. Only think is he’s made a fortune, career has been a joke though
  22. I’d happily take Welbeck, would be a great signing for us. Not sure how much he’d cost in fee and wages though? But yes yes yes !
  23. Which would be utterly retarded - you'd think we would have had a deal all but completed when we stuck another keeper on our books - it's just terrible business sense - a club like ours cannot afford to pay 3 first choice keepers...
  24. Cant see any big outgoings this late on personally.
  25. Would expect wages to be a problem with him. Probably on £100k+
