Tbf, never works like that. How often are teams largely **** then all of a sudden they put a run together and puts them comfortably safe. Will be worried if we need a point or three from the last 2 ...!

£10-15m atm. Probably wouldn’t get in any other prem teams right now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Yep mine too. Up to a £60ish profit...tempting but we’re so bad I think you’d be stupid to cash out now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro -

No idea why this is a sticking point given he’s got a release clause. If we want him, surely we just meet that. £5m additional is cheap compared to the price of relegation... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

There is no excuse to not strengthen the squad. They should have been there to come in on Jan 1st. Ridiculous how it’s all come down the scraping around on the last day of the window. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Important midweek matches starts tonight...

Everton... Agree poor results for us tonight, but as others have said, win tomorrow and it looks much better as it's so tight. My larger concern is that we have some bloody tough games left, and the majority away from home...! 31 Jan 2018 19:45 Brighton and Hove Albion (H) 03 Feb 2018 15:00 West Bromwich Albion (A) 10 Feb 2018 15:00 Liverpool (H) 24 Feb 2018 15:00 Burnley (A) 03 Mar 2018 15:00 Stoke City (H) 10 Mar 2018 15:00 Newcastle United (A) 17 Mar 2018 15:00 Swansea City (A) 31 Mar 2018 15:00 West Ham United (A) 07 Apr 2018 15:00 Arsenal (A) 14 Apr 2018 15:00 Chelsea (H) 21 Apr 2018 15:00 Leicester City (A) 28 Apr 2018 15:00 Bournemouth (H) 05 May 2018 15:00 Everton (A) 13 May 2018 15:00 Manchester City (H) Not looking good right now...beat Brighton tomorrow, Stoke and Bournemouth, and that gives us 31 points...likely to need another 2 wins from somewhere atleast to stay us.... -
Because we need a dominating one? We’re so weak in the air without VVD. A CB should have been lined up to come in Jan 1st given we’ve known VVD was going for probably 12 months Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

If thats genuine then thats pretty funny.

Used to be a huge fan of Davis, but he’s certainly declined in the last 18 months. Now should be 5th choice behind Romeu, Hojbjerg, Lemina and JWP. Probably still good to have in the squad and around the dressing room though, done us a great service. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Hasn’t Prowsey been at the club since he was 8 or something? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Kind of meaningless looking at revenue on its own, however we haven’t particularly spent that much either. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

This. Ideally also dominant in the air. I like Stephens and Yoshida, but neither are great in the air.

Isn't Giroud going the other way in the Aubemeyang deal?
-
Makes no sense when Batshuayi is better than Carroll!?
-
Well I think if this is the case, then we'll get relegated. Only one who is good enough right now for the Prem is Hoedt...Stephens, Yoshida, Bednarek & Gardos are all 3/4 choice which is why is was so weird when we signed Bednarek in the summer. He should have been competing with Stephens as 4th/5th choice CB. Apart from Hoedt, I'm not sure any would be good enough yet for the championship next season either.
-
Definitely need a replacement at CB, we can't deal with any kind of physicality and we are too weak in the air. A dominant CB would give me more confidence of staying up.
-
I'd be ecstatic if we were to bring him in, he's class - can't see it happening though... Do we not have any ITK's anymore
-
Would expect the fans to vote for someone like Stuart Taylor if we get relegated. Hojbjerg deserves it right now, and he's played what, 8 games?
