Awful awful awful. We went out to keep the ball. We didn't. Chambers and Fox were stationary in defence, Fonte wandered, Lovren I thought had a decent game. Either shaw or Clyne have to start, far too stationary for me without them. We really missed Rodriguez and Cork. Why the hell is cork not involved. Absolute embarrassment for me. Was one of our best players last season, and better that Wanyama with Morgan. We shouldn't be playing with out formation either. Either play Rickie or play Osvaldo. They ain't gunna play together. Lamela for a third of the price of Bale is sensational business tbf to them. To bring in Lamela, Soldado, Paulinho, Chadli, Capoue and Chiriches and sell Bale for about a net cost of £10m is a great bit of business. Yes Bale will be a huge loss to the premier league, but they haven't half spent it well. Also take into account the other £20m they have brought in and they've made their squad stronger and come out in profit. It will be interesting to see how they get on this season now, I think they'll finish atleast 4th.

Yeah I'm on the 7:43 from Basingstoke - gets into Norwich around 11:30. Compleat Angler by the river is decent from what I remember last time, and there is also a group of bars including a decent Lloyds (if there is such a thing) bar by the riverside.
