Skysports have no idea. They never do. Their sources are basically everyone else on twitter. When was the last time they broke a story, rather than just reported a story that was already in the public domain??

I don’t agree with you. It’s not like you start negotiations in January. They could and should have had a new striker in the door to play against Forest, we have known we’ve needed a striker since Broja went back to Chelsea last May. A new striker would have lifted the fans, and who knows, might have been the difference between us winning and losing against Forest! IMO, this is not a standard window, because we are bottom and desperate.

They've definitely put the "2pm" bit to mug off SkySports....
-
I can't see him being the "6" that we need, seems more of a replacement for Elyounoussi/Armstrong, which is not a bad thing. Still probably need a holding midf though.

Sounds positive.

Enjoyable listen as ever, and insightful as always. Difficult to disagree with anything on there. Cheers

He was also part of a very good defensive unit. We don't have one. He is not very good unfortunately.

I've heard there is a medical booked for tomorrow morning, but no idea who it is. I really hope it isn't Akpom or Keane.

Or Lemina... Screams to me that there is a decent player in there, but no-one has been able to consistently get it out of him, no idea if thats due to attitude/application or coaching. He could be a great signing for someone, and a decent option on loan, but I certainly wouldn't want Saints spunking €40m on him.

Spurs need one.

Shock.

“We want Jones OUT, say we want Jones OUT!”
-
I’m hoping another spanking today will be the end for Jones. I’d take that in this game rather than the Everton one…allows us to bring someone else in for that one.
-
They are flying and it’s great to see, clearly confidence is high. If we get relegated they should be the priority.

Such a weird club atm, on one side we want to be a free flowing “footballing” side. But then the first team play unsuccessful long ball shite. What is the plan meant to be ?! Do the club even know what they’re trying to do?!
-
Really good player and really good signing. Let’s hope he’s not stood there watching the ball go back and forth over his head. Id have preferred this signing under Ralph…
-
Too busy doing all the marketing bollocks that no one cares about probably. Hopefully they have a few bits of good news for us, this signing and Jones’ sacking
-
Is there not a presser for this? Doesnt seem to have been one since Jones took over that I can see.
-
Him, Mara and AMN don't seem to be able to sprint. Whether thats just the way they play, or a lack of effort I'm not 100% sure.
-
Not sure just got a message saying "ABK injury not good"
-
Injury is bad apparently...

all I’ve been told is that he was on track as expected. I was expecting him to be back involved after the World Cup so maybe we’ll see him involved in the B team at some point in the coming weeks
-
What makes you think he could do a job in the championship for us? So far with us, he’s proved that he is tactically atrocious, and can’t build a way of playing with the players we have. The only way he has any success with our team is buying a bunch of 6 foot 5 players and playing long ball. If by some miracle he managed to get us promoted (I’m almost certain he wouldn’t) that way of playing would get absolutely crucified in the premier league. The best teams that have come up from the championship in recent years, are those that have played decent football which has given them a platform to build something long term. Jones hasn’t given anyone 1 positive in 2 months. At least there was some positives under Ralph despite being out of form. We can barely create a chance.

But none of the above should be playing anyway. It should be 2 of Salisu, ABK and DCC. In a back 4. Keane has been an appalling signing for Everton, weak defender, no leadership at all, and goes into his shell. Only time he’s ever been successful is when he was playing in a very solid unit at Burnley. He would, like all our centre backs, be horribly exposed in our side, unless we sign a Wanyama type midfielder to sit in front of him along with Lavia. The back 5 experiment should be finished now after failing all season. We do not have another 3 months to work that out.
