Jos was captain in the friendly the other day.

I think the Waterloo is more fun, but I did better on the Wellington when I played on there. But neither of them were particularly good scores !! ha
-
Ha. I can certainly understand why the higher handicapped players struggle...as basically if you get in the rough, you lost your ball, or even if you find it, you can't get out !

First 'proper' pre season game? Davis Clyne Fonte Hooiveld Fox Guly Morgan Ward-Prowse Lallana J-Rod Lambert Subs - the rest.

Saints announce how loyalty point scheme will work
Saint Garrett replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Hoping previous history will be used but don't think it will be. I have my plans on which aways I want to do this season, but don't think I am going to be able to afford all the ones which I want to go to. Would have gone to Man City, but with it being moved to Sunday, it means I'll have to take the day off work on the Monday. Not ideal whatsoever. Think Arsenal will be my first awaythis season, however quite happy with the less glamourous aways earning more points, as I'll just go to whatever when I'm available. -
We have Japanese fans with Lee....now we're getting Dutch visitors to the board! Welcome! Sounds like we are doing some extensive scouting in Holland, although wasn't Pieters linked with Newcastle ?!

I've only got a ST this year to give me some kind of chance to get away tickets, never had a problem in previous seasons, especially the last 7! -

The problem for the club with this is that they don't make any money out of away tickets, so they'll want to encourage people to go to home games...but no doubt the ticket system will be a bit dodgy at times. This is a bit annoying thouhgh, as I am sharing my ST with someone else, so does that mean that they won't have any priorities but I will? -
Sounds like it has fallen through then. Did this fall through, so now we've gone after Lens ?

Summer 2012 HCDAJFU Thread - Premier League Special Edition

I think we have our fair share of strikers now. He wouldn't give us anything that Sharp and J-Rod can't do. I think we ended up getting Sharp instead of Hooper in January to just get us over the line and now Hooper is probably regretting his decision to stay up in Scotland. -
People are saying he's only good when played alongside a better CB....Surely it's the better CB who is carrying him then? A bit like Killer carried Claus for the last few years. As soon as Killer got injured, Claus was awful.
-
Kjaer is absolutely class, no chance. Although....after a little google search, apparently they'd sell him for 6m euros...would be a bargain, but would haev thought he'd want to play in Europe.

Thanks for all your suggestions I shall bare them in mind. You're right in saying it feels like the Waterloo course at Sherfield Oaks goes on forever! Very nice though, despite being pretty tough. The rough is horrible, and its proved a bit too challenging for me at the moment ! Had a good round yesterday around Test Valley which we found a lot more forgiving, but also had a few boring holes, but was pretty nice and the blazing sun helped ! Would certainly go back there and see if I can beat my score, but will also keep an eye on groupon as that Romsey deal looks pretty good ! Thanks again!

Don't think so? Surely we wouldnt have had him while outside teh prem ?
-
Anyone else think the great man deserves a place on the SaintsWeb banner ?
-
I think it's more of a 'he was rated highly a few years ago, but since he has been relegated twice so will want to prove that he is good enough for the prem'. Despite it being a negative that he has been relegated, you can see Adkins using this as motivation for the coming season.
-
Didn't he win the Carling cup with Brum ?
-
I'm just not sure he is that good. I'd rather have Curtis Davies I think to Dann, he's been relegated twice in the last 2 years...not a great CV. I'm not writing him off as I'm sure he'll be a pretty solid signing, just think there is better out there to be had. Happy for him to step up though.
-
But he didn't though, did he. And surely that's more to do with Arsneal as they're so unwilling to spend big money and desparate for CB's...Plus he would have been available in Europe had he signed. Also...how close was he?
-
Think we could potentially do better but would be a solid acquisition if he joined. In Nigel we trust.
-
Nearly there... Or.... Davis Clyne, ? Hooiveld, Fox ........Morgan, Cork ?..........Davis..........Lallana ...........Lambert/J-Rod
-
Schneiderlin to really stand out next season for me and for us to finish around 13th/14th. We're more than capable, although agree what has been previously mentioned...we need to sort out CB.
-
Seaborne was pretty bad at CB in L1, done ok last year in the NPC but that was only a few games. He'd get ruined in the prem, Would be surprised if he is part of our 25 squad.
