Schneiderlin to really stand out next season for me and for us to finish around 13th/14th. We're more than capable, although agree what has been previously mentioned...we need to sort out CB.

Seaborne was pretty bad at CB in L1, done ok last year in the NPC but that was only a few games. He'd get ruined in the prem, Would be surprised if he is part of our 25 squad.

I don't think we'll sign another striker. Think we'll go with what we have got and re-assess in January. Though a player who can play RW/LW/AM would be handy...kind of a step up from De Ridder. 2 centre backs and one keeper are a must though.

I think the fans of some clubs will be, but lets not get too far ahead of ourselves...Swansea play better football than us, and we do use the long ball quite a lot despite us playing football as well. We can mix it up to be as effective as possible, but I can see even our own fans surprised at how well a few of the players bed in, Schneiderlin especially. I think he'll look like he's played in that division for years.

I wonder if we insisted that Forepast went, rather then them asking for him. I'm sure we would have instigated that transfer.

Well I've received none of these emails, but tempted to cancel it...as I can just Sky+ MoTD and/or Goals on Sunday. plus they'll all be on soccer am/football focus/SSN and more than likely all the interviews will be on Solent anyway. I will see how it goes, if I dont use it. ill cancel it.

Alan Nixon did say on his twitter that we have been heavily scouting the dutch leagues. Once again, I've never heard of him, but in Nigel we trust.

If Guly wants to play, then he could have a huge part to play this season, but if he's not up for it, it's like playing with 10 men.

Harding was average in L1, pretty woeful in the NPC, and will be embarrassed next season if he plays in the prem.

Red not good enough IMO. Wouldn't be too bothered if Shaw and Stephens were our 2 3rd choice wing backs, and Ward Prowse our 5th CM, but wouldnt want to have to rely on these lads week in week out.

Yes but I wouldnt say we ever really played a specific formation last year, as our players were all over the place, which is why teams found it hard to play against us.

I'm surprised Butterfield wasn't involved in some way in the Clyne deal. Even if it wasn't directly, I'm sure he would happily go back there and im sure they'd take him !?

I know we play with 2 deep CM, but surely these players are earmarked for the RM spot. If, for example, we got Michu (yes i know he's going to swansea) then he'd probably play on the right and cut in as he's left footed, while that would let the full back go past him. I would espect it would be the same with Lens, although it does look like we may well be playing 4231 this season.

This...especially as there has been murmerings of Zaha/Michu/De Bruyne as well. Certainly was our problem position last season.

Why would we not go into the game with Man City game without 2 strikers. We're expected to get battered anyway. I'd prefer us to lost having had a go than lose not even having a shot...
