Caulker is a really good player and wouldnt be surprised if he is their no 1 CB by the end of the season, but agree with Adrian, domestic loans are a joke.

Not from what I've seen of him, admitably thats not a lot, I'd happily be proved wrong though, but wouldnt get too optimistic if he were to join.

Id happily take Clyne, Marriapa and Huddlestone, and I'd probably take Owen on a short term, low wage deal....

Really? I always thought of him of a mid table championship striker, who comes on for QPR because they need a change. Might be wrong though, I've not seen that much of him, but never been great when I have. Sure we could do better than him though.

Don't understand when ppl accuse people of being glory supporters. At the end of the day a lot of people can't make the commitment to a ST but will go whenever they can or want to. Also in the lower leagues/when playing badly, it is a lot easier to walk up to the ground and buy on the gate, I'd be surprised if that happens that much this season. I've never had a full season ticket, yet I've still been following Saints whenever possible and that includes hartlepool/walsall/rochdale away all on Tuesday nights last season. Hate it when fans have ago at other fans. We're all Saints.

We're clearly doing quite a lot of work behind the scenes. Im pretty certain that Adkins will want a GK before they go to wherever they're going in preseason.

Could it be that we're looking to play this lad on the right of midfield ? Adkins likes players who can cut in and play quite narrow there, hence playing Guly and Chaplow on the right, rather than De Ridder. Just a thought, although he's probably being bought for the left side, but to give us back up in other positions as well.

How the hell an any true football fan find Spain boring to watch ? They are magnificent to watch, the ball control, the team ethics, the pinpoint passing it's brilliant. England will never be as exciting as them to watch as we cant keep the ball for longer thatn 1 minute.
