After the ****e you post on here, i dont give a foook what you believe or not. I got lucky, met someone (Not even going to humour you with who) and it was explained to me in almost the exact way that patred posted it happened.
-
Time to go back in your sub. It was true. Never met or spoke to patred, not even close to being ITK, but always thought there was something to it and a chance brief meeting confirmed it.

Ian Wright, Vinny Jones etc etc. Your right lungs, but the longer it hasnt happned for, the harder it becomes. The acid test is whether he is better than we already have in the reserves or has the potential to be better, By taking him on we would be walking away from years of training and nuture for one of the younger players. Of course that doesnt mean all the youngsters are going to make it, but there has to be a very tangible difference in ability, to bring someone in that won't walk straight into the team or even squad. Ive seen him play a few times and don't think Ive ever walked away thinking he could make it pro, but then i know fook all, so that doesn't really count for much.
-
The sad thing is that it has taken him 2 1/2 years to come up with that.

Gosney is a decent player and if the rumours were true, was about to sign for Bournemouth around the time when Totton went to Wembley. Unfortunately in the FA Vase (And I have no idea if this had an impact) Gosney had a bit of a shocker and the occassion seemed to get to him. Everything semed to go quiet from there and he stayed with Totton.

One thing i noticed about Adkins in his pre match interview on the pitch was how genuinely excited he seemed. I think he enjoys the pressures of the big matches and the business end of the season. His post match interview was a bit more subdued and got the feeling he wasn't overly impressed with the performance, but acknowledged the fact the players responded to him at half time. He's growing on me

Actually Weston, Dr Fatty did pay for the club and Clapham Saint is probably one of the best placed posters to comment on it. As for whether a takeover without cash is indeed a takeover. The greatest club in the land was taken over without a penny changing hands ;)

http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/8903213.Cherries_comment__Few_tiers_shed_for_Saints/ I think Cortese, might have got under his skin. And as for the imminent take over.....oh

8 going from this end for the crack.

Spot on. I think he also said (can't remember the exact words) something along the lines of the the fact we actually lost out on a player even though we had the highest bid, in reference to other clubs trying to squeeze more out of us, based on money coming in for Chamberlain. I don't believe another club in this league could have had as positive transfer window as we did. Signed Guly Re-signed Lallana (That would have cost big time) Kept Chamerlain Signed two squad players

I would love to see a direct quote for that. Whilst everyone is jumping down Window cleaners throat, I would be amazed if the investment todate hasnt been done through loan notes or something similar, simply as it is the most tax efficient way of injecting cash into a business. There has been some mention of non returnable bonds (Which I know nothing about) but even if there is never an intention to reclaim the loan, (Same as Chelsea, Man City etc etc) that is the best way of doing it.
