Is there anything that your God wouldn't bless ??

a) 21 b) Head still, eye on the ball ! c) Get out of the bunker first time, every time !

I am still in that camp ! I love to see them squirm and suffer but TBH I do not want them gone completely as we would have no reference point for rivalry or vitriol when required ! To the best of my knowledge we have never actually had a poll on this, surely the time has come to ask the question : a) Total liquidation ? b) Struggle along in League 1 or League 2? c) Phoenix club in Blue Square ? Personally I can live with option b) as it is amusing for us and painful for them !!

You realise that we'd miss out on Europe with that ?

"Opefulley (insert northern accent!) the Chanrai bid will be accepted at the creditors meeting on the 25th" ! No mention of the trust then Appy ??
-
Does this mean that you won't be starting any more sh#t threads then ??
-
Why would they need that then ??

I saw a junior Skate (about seven or eight years old!) on the ferry last week ! Had Kanu on the back, made me smile it did

Labour was in power for 13 years between 1997 and 2010, did they just sit on their arses (whilst handing out knighthoods!) and totally ignore a situation which they disapproved of ?? The fact is that they cosied up to the banking fraternity because it suited them at the time, then when the going got tough, they reverted to type and started blaming everybody else ! Gordon Brown and his sidekick Mr Balls handled our economy like a couple of cocky mature students who had never had a real job in their lives (which of course is true!). The current lot are not exactly impressive either, but given the state of things they inherited it was always going to be an uphill struggle !

Wasn't Labour in power when the banks went unregulated and wild, seem to remember knighthoods being handed out to the likes of Fred (the shred) Goodwin too ???
-
I guess that a thread with over 64,000 posts kind of disproves that somewhat (Ps, I am aware that you were taking the p#ss) !

Rupert Lowe was Nick Leeson's first ever boss ! -
Another new week coming up ! I wonder what gems will pop up ? Will the trust put an offer in ? Will they offload a superstar ? Who is covering the weekly costs ? It's been a bit quiet over the weekend, let's hope for some sparkle in the next few days

The major difference between right and left wingers is that those on the right are less hypocritical ! Most labour politicians talk a good story but spend most of the time feathering their own nests ! All IMHO of course !

I once rented a car for 2 days and returned it to Glasgow airport after 8pm when the office was shut. I left it in the car park and put the keys and the parking ticket into their letterbox (as instructed) ! Two weeks later I got a call asking when I intended to return the car as I had gone 'a bit' over the original rental period ! To cut a very long story short, I had parked it in the short term park whereas they expected the long term one which was much further away from the terminal ! They tried to sting me for the extra parking charges but I told them to stuff it and after much haggling I managed to convince them that as they had the keys and the ticket it was up to them to find the car or contact me after the 2 day rental period ! They do try it on, this was Hertz by the way (but quite a few years ago !).

Quote from a Telegraph article : "At its AGM on June 2, the Football League ruled Portsmouth can play on in administration without losing any further points". I was under the impression that only Birch had said that and it was never 'ruled' by the FL ?? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/portsmouth/9320296/Portsmouths-former-owner-Balram-Chainrai-makes-low-bid-to-buy-debt-ridden-club.html

lew11 2:16 PM on 05/06/2012 hh could do a job in league 1but more importantly it would largely please the fans and unite the city.a great character who would draw more fans into fratton .would also like to see the return of jim smith in some capacity.the city and fans need stirring and those 2 for example would help to fill the ground http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/hermannator-i-might-be-back-1-3916786 This is a comment from a Skate on the possible return of the 'Hermanator' ! The prospect of a 37 year old crock helping to 'pack the park' in the 3rd division, defines the word 'deluded' to perfection !! I'm lovin it !

Recent statements from TB : "We have enough funds to last until the end of May" ! "Our deadline is basically the 2nd of June when the FL decide on our golden share" ! "Portpin's is the only firm offer that we have had " ! I trust that he is enjoying the Jubilee weekend because come Wednesday I think that he will have to make one more statement to the 'bestest few' ! "We're F.ucked" !
