Glad to see Mara getting a start, he deserves a solid 4 or 5 starts in a row in my opinion.

We DID do what they look like doing. They could still very easily finish in the bottom half of the table, so don't need to big them up too much yet.

I never know what I'm looking at to be honest, I rely on this place to summarise for me.

Best? Bold prediction.

What was his excuse for 2017 to 2022?

One change that needs to happen is that VAR officials need to be specially trained, not referees doing that as well, and they shouldn't be teamed up with the same referee every week.
-
That may explain all the fence rattling and aimless chair throws, to be fair.

Really miss those London area league one and championship away days on the train.

Would it? If it's genuinely having a negative effect on someone's work performance I thought it didn't count as discrimination. It's not like any allowances can be made to account for it. Exactly.
-
Perfect example of how even a top class creative player will look shit if the players ahead of him aren't putting any chances away.
-
Would it be considered discrimination if a team was less likely to sign a player who celebrated Ramadan, knowing full well that it would negatively impact their performance?

Trouble with that is I don't think Onuachu has looked any good playing with his back to goal. Adams is much more likely to flick the ball on or chest, control and lay it off.

Championship I don't think was a great escape, as far as I remember we were within touching distance the entire season so were never really far enough behind to consider it a great escape. Similar to this season for me - one win could leap us up into 15th place, so unless we fall further behind and THEN come back I don't know if i'd call this a great escape, even with how bad we've been. Were we bottom at christmas? Am I right in saying the only time someone has stayed up after being bottom at christmas was WBA the season we went down?

That hurts to watch.

I wonder how far they continued their little dance of lobbing chairs at each other before they finally realised that in fact nobody is going to actually do anything.
-
You've all convinced me. Gavin Bazunu is utter quality and is in no way responsible for the amount of goals we've conceded this season. No way we could do any better than him. Spurs signed Forster because he's worse.
-
England mens national football team? Dean Henderson? Alex McCarthy who apparently is better because we kept him? Joe Hart who is the same age but played all season for table topping Celtic? Freddie Woodman as an outside shout, having kept 16 clean sheets in the championship? Ah yes, totally comparable. England 2 places below France in the rankings and above Italy, Spain, Germany. Ireland just below Mali and Ivory Coast and just above Saudi Arabia and Burkina Faso. The willful ignorance towards the fact that we spent £15million downgrading our goalkeeper position is utterly baffling to me. I don't understand why Bazunu is allowed to get away with putting in atrocious performances more regularly than keepers have with us previously.

Meanwhile Forster gets called up to the England squad.

Mara being on made a huge difference. He's an intelligent player.
-
He was right to add.more time on.
-
Var will overturn this.
-
Fucking hate Royal, never a foul there.
-
Mara is a good player, fuck all of you who kicked off about him coming on.
-
Played well. No worldys though. Well in Walcott. Life still in us.
-
Would be nice if Bazunu could do what every other goalkeeper does and pull out a worldy every now and then.
