KWP could really do with taking early shots from time to time. He often receives the ball in the box with a sight at goal but holds it till the angle is closed off. -

There's Bazunu, with his great range of passing, blasting it straight out of play. -

Yep, already getting close to write off territory. Can't plan a side with him in it with the amount of injuries he's having. -

10 minutes into the second half is very early to be making that many changes, especially when we've actually been competitive in the second half anyway. -

Nothing wrong with our performance even in the second half and he makes drastic changes... -

"Totally accidental"??? Listen, djenepo made a meal of that but how obviously biased can you be to try and say grealish didn't deliberately body check him there. -

Commentator slating the home fans lack of noise, might have something to do to the entire northam being given to away fans mate... -

Even diallo is moving the ball well. Is he the deepest midfielder? Lavia seems to be positioned further forward. -

Redknapp said our goals were all down to city mistakes...what? First one you can argue although it was superb work, but there wasn't a single mistake in the second one just great play from everyone. -

Fucking great goal! -
There's no reason the coaches couldn't park up in Melbourne Street, the mini industrial estate at the Chapel end. Then fencing could be put up to funnel them past the chapel to the Itchen if required. It's doable with a little bit of organisation and effort, but we aren't a fanbase worth doing it for as we don't create enough of an atmosphere.

I think he said that they'd rather spend buy youth players at £200k a pop who would increase in value and cited the "success" of Matt Targett in as much as we made a huge amount of profit from him.

How close to the ground did you get before you realised. -
Just checked, Bazunu has played one more game than McCarthy last season, has made less saves than him both overall and per game and has a save percentage of 53.5% of shots on target - McCarthy's was 63%. Bazunu has the second worst save percentage out of all goalkeepers, only Bournemouth's second choice keeper is worse, and nobody but those two have less than a 64% save rate.
-
I'm not saying McCarthy should be our first choice, I wanted him gone as well, just that he would have saved some of the goals Bazunu has let in. And Forster would absolutely have us 5-6 points better off I have no doubt of that. But I expected us to let both of them go last summer and sign a quality, experienced goalkeeper, it was the perfect opportunity to finally sort the position out and they fucked it up.
-
Bazunu is worse. McCarthy is crap but I remember him making saves that you wouldn't expect him to make, Bazunu makes bog standard saves and then sometimes even those he palms into his own net.
-
Didn't he nearly sell him to fund a move for Andy Reid? Or was it a swap deal? I know he nearly got sold to Forest anyway.
-
Was just about to post exactly this. I always liked Keane, lost his way at Everton but he was quality there initially and before that. Thing is, we don't even need him to be THAT good to be an improvement.
-
Prepare for a mind f*ck. A contract till 2027 is only 4 years long.
-
Yeah fair point, and he did score arguably the greatest champions league final goal of all time, but do you think any Madrid or La Liga fans will think of him as a club or league legend? I don't. Stayed at Spurs and they may well have managed to win the league the season Leicester did with him at his peak and Kane up top.
