Who cares what the Newcastle goalkeeper says.
-
Didn't end well for the last person claiming to be speaking the word of God.
-
Watching Conte in this game reminds me of how much I enjoyed us winning 3-2 there and shutting him up.
-
No cheap shots here, pride is absolutely a sin against god. It's trying to take credit for the lords work.
-
Good point, someone should remind him that pride is a sin.

Still get wound up seeing Newcastle doing so well knowing that they were on course to be relegated before the Saudis dumped tons and tons of cash into the clubs account.

Final score, Saints 0 - 1 Lewes. Almost 100 minutes played in total, both teams absolutely shattered dropping to the floor at FT. Saints deserved something from the game but showed a bit of naivety I think, giving away cheap fouls, making it easy for Lewes to time-waste (not standing near the keeper when she has the ball in her hands).

Really bad miss with 3 minutes to go, ball nodded down and hit on the half volley but not caught properly and well wide.

Did he stay off or come back out? -
Haven't watched much of the womens team but what i've seen of today, i'd spend 90% of training doing passing drills, specifically focussing on getting the power behind the passes right. So many underhit passes.
-
Playacting and timewasting has even made its way down to the Womens Championship, Lewes spending a lot of time on the floor.
-
Started the second half well, brilliant run from midfield and some neat passing around the edge of the box led to a one-on-one shot forcing a good save.
-
Saints passing is falling apart now.
-
Of course after seeing us on top I disappear to the toilet and come back to us 1-0 down.
-
Playing pretty well so far, on top as it stands without creating a clear cut chance.
-
Tottenham away, last game at the lane?
-
Good point, my maths is off.
-
7 wins, 8 draws, 6 losses. Hard to beat

Yeah, I for one was never hinging our survival on getting a new striker but more our ability to improve the defence. We've scored the same amount of goals as Palace for example, but conceded 10 more.

"It's the Saints FC, Philosophy"

If they start doing that then we need to work on some routines that take advantage of them having one man less in the mix. Little disguised pass down the sides and then a cutback to the edge of the box should do it.
-
Onana for Everton looked good, he would be a very good option in the DM role and young too, especially if they go down and we stay up.
-
IIRC they wanted £1million for him, which at the time was the "absurd" amount that we paid for Rickie Lambert in league one which blew any other interested parties out of the water.
-
Just did a premier league predictor, thought I was being quite pessimistic but I had us finishing safe on 44 points. As always with those its difficult to predict where the lower sides will pull the shock results so I had West Ham, Everton and Bournemouth going down all with less than 27 points!
