  1. Feels like a long, long time ago but the best i've ever seen him was at the start of this season after making the decision to stay and signing a new contract. Pity things never progressed. In a season where everyone offensive was disappointing in one way or another, he still got 7 assists and I would wager is right up there in the key chances created statistic. Keep him.
  2. Judging by the way they acted in the lap of appreciation, i'd say cedric is definitely off, Van Dijk is likely off and Bertrand is possibly off.
  3. Brace yourself everyone, the off season is coming...
  4. Blimey. Glad i'm on the train then.
  5. Easily the Shane Long goal at Anfield, probably more so for those of us that were there. Epic celebrations. The cup final equalising goal was special too. Milan at home...I think people mis-remember that game a lot. My recollection is we were very poor and got lucky to beat them.
  6. So much wrong with this post.
  7. Well, I would like to give him till january to see what he can do with (hopefully) a less injury hit season and more of "his" team, but I also wouldn't be too upset if he was sacked - especially if we have a quality replacement lined up. If he does go however, I won't count him as a failed manager at all, just one for whom nothing ever really fell into place.
  8. He's got two?
  9. Definitely outside, shouldn't have been a pen. Although there was another blatant one inside the box later on in the half that they didn't show a single replay of for reasons unknown, so we probably got the right amount of penalties anyway.
  10. Except JWP wasn't going sideways last night, he was direct, attacking and had some excellent chances on goal that required a fantastic save or a last ditch block.
  11. Looked very good whenever i've seen him - which admittedly is only about 55 minutes worth of football.
  12. Decent second half ruined by terrible subs by Puel - although Boufal was good when he came on, it should have been Redmond who came off as he hadn't been involved much in the second half.
  13. Arghhh redmond had taken the ball past Bailly, why did he try to flick it over him again!?!?
  14. Erm try again, ward prowse was a huge attacking threat. Boufal often negates any threat by wasting possession.
  15. Never apparently. Ward prowse off????????????!!!! BOOOOOOOOOOO
  16. Ward prowse so unlucky not to score today.
  17. That's my favourite moment under Puel so far [emoji23]
  18. How has Rooney got away with screaming and swearing in referees faces his entire career? Why do they out up with it?
  19. I think you mean this is infinitely better than the first half when we were boring.
  20. Bit more intent so far this half, better. We look more threatening when attacking through the middle of the pitch rather than out wide.
  21. Well he DOES pick the style. I doubt he says "boring", but pass it around the defence? Play it safe before play it forward? Hold the line in midfield rather than make forward runs? You bet.
  22. Trouble is we're playing like he DID score and we're trying to just keep it tight, not taking many risks.
  23. I am still willing to give Puel till next january. However, I would no longer care if we decided to twist. Our form over the last 10 games or so has been awful.
