Predicted before the game that Pelle would score but would go on to disappoint (again) against superior defences. Paul Jewell who was watching the game on SSN said that Pelle "must have had 12 attempts and this was his first on target".

Pelle will score in this game which will give us all hope, but when he plays against proper defenders again...we'll be disappointed all over again.

I'm going to give him a chance. But right now, from everything i've seen of the guy so far, his technical attributes don't seem to be that great. First touch, ball control, passing ability etc. Put it this way - if he's going to be a successful signing for us, then there needs to be a massive improvement on what we've seen so far.

Have to say I've seen nothing from Pelle so far to suggest he will regularly perform for us, and the fact he's had an awful career apart from two seasons in Holland doesn't fill me with confidence either. Got a horrible feeling he'll be a massive flop.

You've got to be a complete idiot to think that people standing up is the root cause. People stand up in large crowds in all sorts of scenarios - concerts, for example. Why are there not benches placed in the standing areas at concerts and stewards walking around telling people to sit down? For that matter, why are you allowed to stand in an all seater stadium if any event other than football is taking place?
