That's fair enough and if he's asked Cortese to let him do so then he should have let him (if!) but I can't see that he's got a case here as Saints haven't done anything legally wrong. It sometimes seems to me that the LMA - as well as the PFA and the FSF - just try to challenge anything and everything to make it look like they're doing something.

It was said a while back that he was placed on gardening leave, not actually sacked. Surely this is the best for both parties? He gets paid what the contract states and if (when) someone else wants him, they have to pay us compensation.

Didn't realise you can only buy for away games online or at the office...bought my eligible 3 yesterday and then went to buy another when it went on general sale today, but it won't let me because I've already f*cking bought some. I should add that I don't think for a second we should sell him, I do believe he can be a big player for us but I don't think it'll be this season.

Been very disappointed with him, despite the talent clearly being there. Makes the wrong decision a lot and invariably ends up just giving it away.
