  1. Lawrenson on the panel tonight? He may actually predict a win for us next saturday.
  2. He's like the conductor of an orchestra, he points to where we need to pass and the ball goes there. Keep him as captain - please.
  3. Schneiderlin DOES dominate midfields.
  4. That is atrocious. I've only just woken up, if that's an excuse...
  5. Good luck to him, did very well for us.
  6. No no, money wasted, get rid asap. What does Neville know he's only one of the most experienced players in the PL.
  7. A nothing story, he would of been asked, he would have answered. That is all.
  8. That's nothing new. Decent result - we're world beaters. Bad result - we're pub league level.
  9. West Ham twice, Coventry I'd say were all big occasions as well.
  10. Speaking of seen it all before, when Gerrard stepped up for that free-kick all I could think of was Beckham V Greece.
  11. Have Montenegro got the cookie monster on the tannoy?
  12. I actually think playing the likes of Cleverly and Milner instead of Lampard and Young is the right thing to do. It'll be a scrappy game, everyone's really up for it.
  13. Their fans kicking off on each other already, drop kicks flying and everything.
  14. Didn't cost us anything, so even if he turned out sh*t it wouldn't have made too much difference.
  15. I can't picture him playing another minute of professional football to be honest.
  16. Ah right, didn't know that. Still £2million a year seems very cheap for something like that.
  17. Yep £15million, absolute joke. If they wanted it they should have had to pay the full cost themselves, it's what everyone else does.
  18. All the reports seem to liken him to Lambert, which is definitely exciting.
  19. I like that he talks about challenging for a place even after this summer. There are some people on this forum who will be saying we should get rid if he isn't first choice by then.
  20. Posted this in another forum... 1. Why would they leave a fantastic stadium (not even like it's a sh*thole, it still looks good) for a ground that it will be difficult to generate an atmosphere in? 2. Why are they using £60million of tax payers money to help them for f*cks sake!!! Looking at it, the best thing to do would be to dig the pitch further down so you can have more stands at the front (also that way you can have flat stands parallel to the pitch rather than curved all the way). Whether that's what will happen is another story, but for the best part of £200million it's what I'd be expecting.
  21. But of course if you'd turned out to be wrong, you'd have just been "making it up for a laugh" ala the Guly 15 minute contract clause. Oh, OK then. Why would he just make it up?
  22. I would much rather let the club decide, considering we all know hardly anything about him.
