  1. A friend asked me to post this. "Hello, my name is Pavel. I used to work at Southampton Football club. I felt part of the team their. They were much nice to me and we're helpig me settle in. Now the boss he say "Pavel you go, you have too much mistakes in your emails". I sad. He say it because of a "Dingo Pendant" and some post on a massage board. I know no what he mean by that. I was worried how my family eat but now I get new job with other football club near. They are no so friendly but there internet has been cut off so no email pendants their. COYR. Pavel"
  2. Gods country....
  3. History is written by the victors, but it does show people talk a lot of ****e on here. Perhaps people should remember this the next time they're writing off a player? Will they ********. Now who's with me backing Pulis for a shock return in the Premiership?
  4. Game was safe on Saturday. IIRC Sharp has appeared since Connolly's last appearance so I'm sure in part it was about giving people a run out. I think Billy will settle in and do the business. Time, opportunity and competition from the others will all play a part.
  5. 1) Liverpool TTANO - Cardiff demoralised? 2) Cardiff win - buoyed up or become overly confident? 3) Extra time? It goes without saying that a couple of injuries and multiple sendings off would be helpful, but what about the result. C'mon armchair psycho(s)-logists, what do you think?
  6. Poor by Solent. Great by Saints.
  7. Disagree. Although I don't like BFS, his teams get results and actually the approach he's taking at WHU is not dissimilar to Bolton. High wages to mature players / footballing mercenaries, long ball with a couple of flair players (e.g. JJ in the Bolton days). If you have the funding to sustain it, it works. His team won't get battered in the Prem but neither will they do anything spectacular - in fact I'd back him over Nigel to stay up.... I wouldn't want him to manage Saints as he's too defensive, bent (at least by his son, if not personally) and delusional.
  8. Excellent, I will register my address as Sydney and therefore be the loyalst of the the loyal. Bow down before me plebs.
  9. Seems they fink we no nuffink about the rules of soccer... http://www.kumb.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=138702&start=40 Of course, none of their fans would get the laws of the game wrong would they.... http://www.kumb.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=138654 And then of course there's this lunacy where they've got nutters still declaring Sharp threw his neck onto Taylors hand or that the photo was doctored.... http://www.kumb.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=138545 My advice. Look in your own backyard first and you'll find just us many confused souls / nutjobs.
  10. Not seen the highlights so can't comment but not sure what the argument is here. - If the foul occured outside the area with no covering player and the attacker had a reasonable chance of controlling the ball then that's a red. - If there's a covering player or no real chance of controlling the ball, then a yellow. - If it's inside the area then usually yellow + penalty provided it's not common assault. - Eitherway it's only ever a one match ban for a straight red resulting from denying a goal-scoring opportunity. But as we know from the Tevez affair, the rules don't apply to West Ham. Regardless, I think they'll finish 17th.
  11. Aloha of rubbish...
  12. I genuinely think a bucket collection would be a good idea. It's both ironic and generous!
  13. I think that was a mistake as they had Harding at left-back. I think they meant Fox who had three assists and a clean sheet.
  14. At least there's no ticket tax......
  15. Google translate says: " Great! Com cheap shot amazing decided (> _
  16. The attendance will be 25,635 which isn't too bad. Two games in a week is a big stretch for many families, particularly after the Christmas credit card bill hits. Personally I can't be arsed to attend tomorrow. There are too many people moaning at the games these days - too many people, not enough people, yada yada...
  17. Actually he is correct. Skates are in Amin, Egypt looking for new investors. Mustafa Larf is their new owner.
  18. If you really believe that NC and NA concocted fictitious transfer deals (incidentally ones they didn't actively comment on) in order to appease fans then I think you should seek medical help. I do think the Celtic position is interesting though. If Rangers did go to the wall (unlikely, but that is a massive debt) then there would literally be one big team in Scotland.... and what little TV money there is would walk South of the border. We need Pompey to survive for rivalry reasons, Celtic need Rangers for financial ones.
  19. ...Just to be clear the reference 'held his face my arse' referred to BFS' accusation that Sharp had made a meal of it. Taylor is a thug and no way any appeal will be successful (unless Brooking is the judge!). Also thought Sharps miss wasn't as bad as some said - just unlucky and the goals will come for him (at least he was in the right place)

  21. Give me strength. Solent is texted to by reactionary wierdos and Dave is being a bit of a dildo tonight.
  22. loons is an understatement
  23. Commutable from Southampton area so a sensible place for a fitness loan. I like Lee Holmes but agree on his injury record hampering him, certainly an upper half League 1 / lower Championship player if the team plays to his strengths. Good luck Lee.
  24. Interestingly at the point when Hines was down I commented to my Dad on Saturday that the "Adam Lallana" name chant sounds very much like "have a banana". I then proceeded to chant it a couple of times. I worry that I may unwittingly been the racist mentioned by the original post..... (this is not to belittle racism, or to condone some of the knuckle dragger views that always come out when violence or racism are discussed - just thought it was relevant).
  25. Ban this fool. There's no place for sensible, reasoned views on this forum....
