  1. Yes it would. If there are only 4 teams there with something to play for and the rest dont have to worry about relegation, the interest will go down, meaning what I said would happen, would happen. You say kids who support teams like Oldham also support one of the big 4....well that maybe true. However kids do not pay for anything into football and when they grow up they tend to realise you pick 1 team. If one of their teams they support is local, they'll generally choose that.
  2. Not if they've got a head on their shoulders. It wouldn't be guaranteed. The money wont be there when within a couple of years because... People stop going to games People stop buying the shirts People stop watching it on tv and generally lose interest Sponsors will begin to pull out Prawn sandwich patrol will stop going Demand for TV rights will be less meaning Sky wont have to pay anywhere near as much to get the rights The leagues would get less money meaning less rewards Clubs get less money Football dies.
  3. No. My mum had it as a door bell once. It was after I had moved out. It rang that tune and was ripped off the wall within 17 seconds.
  4. Why? We went years (and plenty of pomp*y games) with blocks 1 & 2 open. Guess it's just a last resort
  5. Been on the cards for a while. Would kill football.
  6. Surely the West Ham match is big enough? Big game, 1st Vs 2nd. Big team and a sell out. What more must be asked for?
  7. I'm sure I saw a thread on this yesterday. Although it wasn't in the Sun. Maybe they got it from here.
  8. IMO, in 10 years time, you'll hear people refer to him as "Saints legend Ricky Lambert" whenever he is interviewed. Which is fine with me.
  9. He always seems to get kicked around, which tells me players don't like playing against him. I'm really impressed with him
  10. Back to the subject. I'm still to be convinced. I don't think he's a bad player at all. I just don't feel comfortable with him. Not sure why. Maybe all that's stuck in my head is the errors he's made (particularly Cardiff) and not the good things he's done. I have seen all but one league game that he's played.
  11. Can't make my mind up on this. My head says they will win My heart say we really do turn up against better opposition and we will nick it.
  12. Make that about 20...lol
  13. "We're waiting for you, you dirty scummers, we're waiting for you" among about 10 songs in a row about us.
  14. Watched the stream today. He was brilliant!
  15. Just hit the post from 25 yards
  16. Lots of empty seats Out of tune trumpet Constant songs with no words Constant bell ringing Out of time drumming "If you all ate schummers clap yaw ands" What an embarrassing set of fans they really are.
  17. You have to pay the £120 as you are contracted to. And it wont make things any easier. Like BigShadow said, your landlord is caught in the middle. Explain to your landlord you expect the full 24 hours notice minimum if someone will be visiting your home. With the TV, it's your word against his.
  18. Not many for me. But Ninian Park was the best and went to their new ground this season, pants

  24. I went to new place near the guildhall called 'Turtle Bay' a few weeks ago. Was very impressed.
  25. I once got charged £8.90 for a hotel in Southampton rather than £89.00 due to the lady entering the wrong amount on the machine. I assumed they would take the money from my card later but they never did.
