  1. Shows they know nothing about our fan base but then you wouldn't really expect them to. Like you say, it's a compliment really.
  2. I would have taken this at the begining of the season
  3. Agreed. He's been outstanding so far
  4. Cup for me. It's all about winning things and when you look back at the honours list and trophy room, you wont have anything to show for 4th.
  5. Holloway agrees http://www.blackpoolgazette.co.uk/sport/football/blackpool-fc/brave_beattie_plays_on_despite_death_of_his_dad_1_3122816
  6. De Ridder has to start imo. I just don't know if it should be in place of Connolly or Guly. Guly does alright at home. Hammond to come back in too. They've been a bogey team for a while now...
  7. I think it didn't really have the right type of atmosphere for the England/Wales jibes. That said, maybe if you started it, others would have followed? They get that every week though, pretty boring, unoriginal attempt to wind them up. Just as boring as their "Just a small town in Portsmouth" chant.
  8. Amazing how opinions can differ re: Atmosphere. http://www.cardiffcityforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=60757 I thought we sounded brilliant for the majority of the game and hardly heard them except for when they scored, which led to "2-0, and you still dont sing"
  9. I thought the ground itself looked quite cheap outside. But inside there are loads of positives. Outside there are plenty of shops and pubs as well as parking for £5. Didn't take too long to get out of the car park either. Inside, the toilets were huge, plenty of catering facilities so basically no queues. Also, they open the gates for a smoking area where there are buger vans outside. Loads of room in general. Inside the actual 'bowl' it looks alright, nothing special. It seems that when the Cardiff fans did make noice (not often) the ground kept it inside creating a potentially good atmosphere. Staff were all good too. All round, the total opposite of Ninian Park...but I would rather watch a game at Ninian Park.
  10. Harding. Much better defensively and I'm not sure we miss much of a delivery from Fox. Although he does take a good free kick, Hardings is hardly bad.
  11. If he had just stepped on the pitch with the ball over the other side, the game wouldn't have been stopped imo. He touched the ball about half a yard inside play which resulted in a drop ball. In this case, that's what happened.
  12. Also, the pic showing Fonte and Cork arguing with the ref was regarding a foul by Fonte in the first half...
  13. Adkins touched the ball before it went out There was a handball before both of their goals. The first was blasted at his hand to be fair, the second was unbelieveable! The defender touched it past one of our players with his hand on purpose. They then went up the other end and scored.
  14. Agreed. Other than when they scored, they were silent. The complete opposite to Ninian Park.
  15. We played some lovely football followed by amature football. We seemed to want to score the perfect goal, a lot like Arsenal. We just dont seem to want to shoot from further than 12 yards. We gave the ball away far too cheaply. Little flicks here and there as well as basic 10 yard passes gave the ball away, sometimes in very dangerous areas including one which led to their 2nd goal. Very sloppy. We had our chances though and should have had a pen just before their 2nd goal. I think a draw would have been a fair result. I wish we would stop this passing it out to the middle from goal kicks. Has it ever worked? It's so bloody obvious! It can work with a quick roll out at the right time but Davis was looking for the pass every time and they knew that. Lallana, Connolly and Lambert were all quiet today. Richardson did well. Was not impressed with Fox, Davis or Guly. De Ridder (once again) looked brilliant when he came on. Their ground looks pretty, but I hated it. Ninian Park was awesome. Really intimidating and loud. This was awful and their fans were so quiet (except for when they scored and the 3 minutes after that) we completely outsung them even at 2-0 down. A Cardiff fan on TalkSport seemed very impressed with us.
  16. But I don't think anyone has the opinion that Cortese is impervious to criticism. But then who is? Cortese is good for the club and I think most fans see that. Those same fan wish that he could make it up with MLT/LM/Franny.
  17. Didn't go unfortunately. I assume MLT was there? He's usually good for a story and laugh? Seems Osman always slpits opinion on here. Don't get me wrong, he's no genius but I always found him funny enough.
  18. Makes me laugh how 3-4 posters who don't like something/someone can make such a noise. Everyone bar a few posters like Cortese (and love MLT). So I think it's more realistic to suggust these few are the ones being hired by a PR company to try and rock the ship. Maybe Lowe wants back in and it using this tried and tested method? Grow the f*** up.
  19. Leicester to finish 8th according to that. That would be funneh
  20. I agree with the 'If you're good enough for the job' statement. I don't see why people get jobs based on their skin colour, gender, religion etc to 'make it fair' For example, I heard on TalkSport a few times recently the presenters and guests going on about how there aren't enough balck managers in the game and that it could be down to racism within the game. Erm, no...if there was a black Alex Ferguson, do you think he wouldn't get a job just because he's black? Don't be silly. I called in to make this point as well as point out that only 1.9% of our population is black and that there are 2 black managers in the 92 professional clubs. Therefore, it seems to have worked out just about right. Paul Ince agrees that if they're good enough, they'll get the job. It's situations like that which will create racism IMO.
  21. I think that he think you're actually talking to him face to face rather than on Twitter
  22. As far as I remember it was restricted to 1 per season ticket and non season ticket holders also had to buy a ticket for the Carlisle game... I may be wrong
  23. No, he smacked one. A female one
  24. Booed off the pitch lol
  25. Draw would be a good result for us I think. That said, I'd rather Leeds won than Brighton
