  1. Can't see many going really. I thought this was arranged to show off a new signing that would excite the fans.
  2. Even better. The church can't turn anyone away! What ya waiting for?? (My guess is it likes watching you have a tug)
  3. His name is John W******d, He's the ****** with the bell, He live's at home with Mum, and he *****in smells. He likes to sh@g his Dad, or even his best mate, But what he really loves to do is sling it up a skate
  4. Tell it next door welcome spirits. It will soon move on
  5. Were you there last Saturday? Both Sven and Adkins made changes at half time and the game swung massively in our favour. I'm not sure they even got in our half 2nd half.
  6. I've always been in the 'no' camp with this However if he's free and has the right attitude (that he is back up to Rickie) then I can't see where we would lose. Some have mentioned his ego, I've also witnessed it in town. But if he genuinely wants to be here, maybe he'll be grateful for the chance and wont want to ruin it.
  7. SSN saying he's signed for QPR but can't see anything official
  8. Tbf, Forecast was in goal
  9. Guessing this isn't happening then...?
  10. Why are the free sites with just as many members and traffic all okay?
  11. Well....that sounds awful as I rate Celtic as an average NPC side
  12. Is this what SNN just mentioned?
  13. SSN just said we're in for some defender but missed it....
  14. I see he was made captain last night. I think if he's here for a couple more years he will be leading the team out regularly.
  15. Southampton is a pretty dump night out now. Maybe I'm just finding it too samey? Just seems like everywhere closes far too early. Not many places open after 2am now. Depending on what you enjoy... Bedford place: (general drinking area with mix of students and wannabe students whith a tad more cash) Orange Rooms - Very good reputation and get some big acts in there. Good atmosphere. Quality cocktails and drinks selection and decent venue all round Pop - Just been purchased by Orange Rooms and is good considering the size Buddah Lounge - Get some very nice ladies in there but very pretentious. Can be alright for a pre drink and have a nice new roof area. Tokyo - Not had a good night there yet... 90 Degrees - Pretty pretentious but decent gash. Revs - More laid back. Downstairs is a good laugh with cheese and current music. Upstairs is more like a club. Junk - Always used to be hit and miss but has been a major miss recently. All they play is melow techno. I remember when there were queues around the corner for this place, not anymore. Chambers - Was always a pre drinking venue but now open til 3am and decent drinks in there. Not stayed late yet though Kellys - Avoid unless you want to laugh at chavs. Amusingly they only allow you in wearing shoes Level 1 - See above Reflex - Is what it is. If you like 80s cheese, you'll love this Cafe Parfait - Used to be White House. Nothing special and their cheap house Vodka tastes like bleach. Spend the extra 40p on the branded stuff. Then you've got pre drinking venues such as Avondale, Varsity, Pensioners, a Wetherspoons and Yuzu which are all alright Bevos Vally: (no thrill student area, dirt cheap) Jesters - As said in other posts, absolute class night out SoBar - On a good night it's great! On a quiet night, it's pants! Kaos - Much like Jesters, cheap and quality!! Lennons - Get some scrags in there. Not been in for a while but can be quite good depending on how busy the area is. Dungeon - Only been once and was pleasently surprised. Above Bar: (chav central) Yates Square Slug & Letace Whatever Toad in the Park in now called. Old Fat Cat Bit further down the road is Bliss which smelt like feet last time I was there. Other end is Wahoo (was Walkabout) and is just basically a rebranded Walkabout. Then further down again is Club Rosso which nearly got shut down recently 'cos of all the trouble. Then there's Oceana which I don't tend to end up in due to it's location. But being the size it is, if it's busy, it can be good. I wish Soton made the most of Ocean Village and/or Mayflower Park. We could have some quality night spots.
  16. Depends on how in demand he is. If it's only us in for him then we could get a real bargin! I haven't looked into his contract status but might it have been an extension? MLG?
  17. Oh, I do apologise. *Development star. Thank god we have posters like you to double check all content
  18. Would be good to hear the Northam singing that end bit. It's fast enough
  19. Hope he gets some game time. Sounds like he'll be our next acadamy star
  20. What an amazing signing this would be. Him and Lambert would be unstoppable! Seems an unlikely signing but it's clear to see we're interested. I'm not sure about this ego thing. My housemate is a Leeds fan and said he always had a good relationship with fans as well as a great desire to win. Never came across as someone who was disruptive. He had a bit of a strop after our defence kicked him all over the park a couple of seasons ago. So what?
  21. Nearly half way there. So what happen when you get to 5000?
  22. I didn't know a free kick had to leave the penalty area. Every day is a school day
