Win the next game. Then win the next game. The win the next game. Surely this is the aim. One game at a time and see where that takes us

Don't know anything about him at all. So then we would have Richardson, Butterfield, Stephens and this guy. My guess would be Butters to be moving on
-
I am not saying he would be better off here (althought another year would have done him good imo) I just think he would have done just as well, or more likely better at Man U, Liverpool, Spurs, Villa etc. I really do think AOC has left far too early. He's only had half a season in the 3rd divison. Playing weekly in the NPC in a winning side would have done him the world of good!

I like it and Merson makes me laugh. I've often sat and watched it from start to finish!!
-
I wasn't happy at the time, made some great signings and seemed to be the reason why Lallana stayed. That said, I wouldn't change it if I could. NA has been brilliant!!
-
I'm pretty sure he hasn't developed any more than he would of at any other prem club. Complete myth that Arsenal are good with youth.
-
Because it's such a big ask. You do realise how good that man was in the top division? I think he can be mentioned in the same breath and especially if he shows the same loyalty. He can be this generations MLT, but as good as? We'll see.

I would love this to happen. It shouldn't take someone to pass away for them to get a statue. Unfortunately, it wont

On the way / just got home from the game thread...

When we were queuing for a burger outside the ground after the game, we were taking the **** out of their Poznan celebration and how embarrassing it is that they copied it of City, only for one of their fans to say that it's theirs and they are original. All the Saints fans were p1ssing themselves. Then they start singing 'Oh when the blues go marching in...'. And I thought we were unoriginal!!! Worst fans I've ever come across!! -
Fantastic player and will do well in the PL. However he needs to improve 2 things, his shooting. And knowing when to pull the trigger. He often takes one touch too many.

Can't believe that 3rd goal counted.

Posted this in the post match thread but will copy and paste.... On the minibus home... Thought 1st half we just didn't seem normal. Although the 3rd goal was a blatant foul! 2nd half we were on top the whole time. We had 2 shots brilliantly blocked and 2 shots brilliantly saved. Not sure if Connolly hit the post or if the keeper saved another. Then in the dying seconds Lallana chose to take too many touches when he had a great sight of goal. So that's 6 great chances on top of our 2 goals. Thought De Ridder was awesome and now deserves a start. Guly was far too casual. Lambert was nowhere near his best today. Cork slotted in very well at RB. Overall we deserved at least a point. On another day would have got all 3. Saints fan were quality! Leicester fans were embarrassing when they kept doing that Man City celebration. Gave us all a good laugh!!! Bless 'em. -

Can't be real.

Yeah saw the sign up in there when I was still living in Bullar Road. A real shame. Glad his family decided to carry on with the business. I've also have been going there since my Dad used to take me down and sit me on the counter. Also used to go there for lunch quite often when I was at Bitterne Park School. Whenever I'm back in the area, I pop in for some chips

Sometimes I wish I was old

Any normal member of the public would get a fine, 2 year suspended sentance and community service. They do tend to go harder on those in the public eye though (unless you're Steven Gerrard)
-
If he could sort the attitude then yes Unfortunately, that doesn't seem possible
-
If he could sort his attitude out and perform consistantly well like he can, he'd be like a new signing. But as it stands, I'd pay for his taxi to any club in the country
-
Cathch 22 I don't want him in the U21s as we don't want to put him in the shop window too much BUT Like you say, the player might look to go somewhere else to get the selection HOWEVER Lallana is too old to be in the U21s so it doesn't matter

Used to go to Mikes up the Castle too. Always good. Andys in Bitterne Triangle is good too. Charlies is sh*te!!
