  1. Yep. Well worth it.
  2. Will never buy anything in the ground until they can sort out the queues. I'd happily go the ground early if the beer was even half decent though. How do they get it so badly wrong?
  3. They'll freeze it and make out like that's a big deal and really rewarding supporters. A 10% reduction would be a drop in the ocean for the club but the positive PR and increased gates would be worth it. We hardly ever sell out as it is.
  4. Even if they won that game 10-0. Who cares? They'd be in the same division as Eastleigh!!!!
  5. I would love to see us take a lead and lower the prices in light of the new to deal. However I don't believe that is the "Southampton way" and we'll likely freeze them and be told that's a good thing. It's just greed. Especially when we're not selling out regularly. I'm fortunate enough to be able to afford a ST. However football should be for everyone and a ticket should never be more than £30 in my opinion. I'd gladly join in any form of protest if we increase the prices.
  6. Well I like it.
  7. I was certain they'd go up and almost certain they'd go up as champions. They should do really. But there's a real chance they might even miss out on the play offs. Not only would that be a catastrophe but hilarious.
  8. Empty seats will look terrible on tv. It'll damage the Premier League "brand". That's literally the only way to do something about it.
  9. Must....resist......correcting....
  10. The pompey hashtag is an hilarious read right now
  11. Wotton should be there. He's better than Schneiderlin, remember?
  12. We need to get Bertrand on a long contract. That would be the biggest signing. Pelle will go. I wouldn't rely on JRod coming back, let alone coming back to his previous level. I'd like us to look to the championship for some players. A lot of teams (including us) have found real quality there. If Wanyama goes I still think we need to sign a replacement. Although JWP, Classie and Romeu have shown good form lately, they haven't done enough to make me feel comfortable they'll go a whole season playing well. Get the Ox in to replace Mane. That'll do.
  13. We may have moved on but I still have feelings. Confusing feelings. I remember coming out to see a load of Southend fans hanging out of a limo waving Saints scarfs chanting "we're going down in a limo"

  15. No way are we getting or even going for Ox. Why would he leave? This is Arsenals best chance to win the league. He'd want to be there for that. I can imagine he'd been keen on the first team football but it won't happen now. No way.
  16. Walk into work this morning "See we nearly beat Bournemouth at the weekend?" They're genuinely very proud of this defeat....to AFC Bournemouth.
  17. This one? 5 minutes in. Better for many reasons. For a start it was fully in the oppositions half.
  18. Not sure how true this is but its on their message board too. Sounds like it was all announced at a recent fans forum. They're looking to build a new stadium on the current site. Apparently they were planning on building a new stand however it would make more sense to build a fully purpose built new stadium to continue the recent growth. Very impressive. Hilarious that they'll have a better ground than that lot down the road too. Good luck to them.
  19. Are you surprised? Look at the circus they still make out of drawing a game 4 years ago.
  20. Coffee on keyboard. Thanks.
  21. I'd have that style kit forever if we could.
  22. So so close. Never mind. The biggest home crowd in 4 years (despite always selling out) were left utterly gutted after their plucky fight against the Barcelona of the PL.
  23. Delighted this is happening. Was great for us during the rise up the leagues. Obviously the Leeds game being the sand out performance. The save against Sheffield Wednesday was amazing too. I was right behind it and we celebrated it like a goal. Great **** up afterwards too. Not sure who it was against but I remember at the Northam end someone hit the post. A minute or so later there was a reply on the screen and you saw Kelvin get a finger on it. Everyone gasped and he turned around nodding his head pointing at himself. Also, great at saving pens. Top man. Hopefully we retain him after his playing days.
  24. So boring you can't stay away. Yes SaintsForever was good but I suppose I had less to do when I was 15.
