  1. I was close to starting a thread about him after the Everton game. Yes I know he's young so has plenty of time to improve, but IMO he doesn't offer us anything right now. Maybe a year or 2 in the u21s/loan then he'll come good. But at the moment he doesn't do or add anything really. Can only imagine the reaction if it was Guly or Wanyama putting in such ineffective performances.
  2. Are you sure he's not just winding everyone up? When I saw all the outrage on twitter about individuals not getting scarfs and tweeting everybody associated with Saints, I was tempted to stick a tweet like that up.
  3. David Villa to Saints. Don't be silly.
  4. My girlfriend and I were just sat watching tv when her phone lit up in front of us. When she picked it up to look at it, it was calling a random number. She cancelled the call before it connected. After searching the start of the number on Google, it's a premium rate line ($17 per minute). I've never know this sort of thing happening before. My guess is there was some kind of hack involved. How did this happen? Is there a way to prevent it happening again? Anybody seen or heard of this happening?
  5. Would be interesting to see where we'd have finished if he stayed fit all season.
  6. So, did Rickie get the touch before the whole ball was over the line?
  7. Nope. Just says "loading the player"
  8. That's annoying. Any iPad streams out there?
  9. Does this work on iPads?
  10. Congratulations. Great pics too. Just don't let them ever Google "Jayden James" for 18 years or so.
  11. Top players. I phrase I hear a lot about him is "he's the most underrated player"...which technically doesn't make him underrated. Well, not with Saints fans anyway.
  12. Thought it was a good atmosphere today. Watched it back on tv and sounded quite quiet. Do we not have many microphones pitch side? What was the significance of those who dressed up to form a massive H in the Chapel?
  13. I said this before the game. I think he would make a good replacement for JRod while he out. Yesterday would have been a good time to try it out.
  14. Yep. Looking back now it's very easy to say it was a bad signing. Clearly has ability but his attitude is what made it a failure. Could have been a very different story if he could keep his head.

  16. Are you looking for an answer from them? I don't think they (openly) post on here.
  17. Very impressive, especially in such a short space of time. And 100% going to charity...how very normal and classy.
  18. Seems positive. Good to hear there have been no negotiations going in behind the scenes. So the Shaw stuff was all crap as we expected. They've set themselves up for a fall though. I'd be very surprised if we're able to keep Shaw if the silly money being mentioned is correct. I feel he does owe us at least one more year though.
  19. Out of interest, how much did the saints foundation bike ride raise?
  20. Strangely he blocked me a while ago for disagreeing with him. He has since unblocked me. This leads me to assume he stalks my twitter. I know he reads this very often. *wave* thanks for unblocking me Neil. I hope you enjoy my future tweets.
  21. The Southampton/'amp****e accent is definitely dying out. Mush.
  22. I didn't realise half was going to the club. That's disgraceful! Why am I even surprised?
  23. Would love that. But seems a bit too premium to be a main sponsor in football.

    Big vic!

Thought he looked back to his best. Amazes me how many fans we have who refuse to accept a good performance so they can have a good moan or scapegoat. VW misplaced one pass in the 2nd half which lead to him conceding a free kick. So many blokes in the pub just then wouldn't shut up about how crap he is and what a waste of money he is. Yet if Lallana makes a mistake, it's unlucky. Wanyama does his job well and we're a better team when he's in it.
  25. It didn't send us down though. Not even close. We were terrible that day but had we won our last game of the season, we'd have stayed up. In terms of soul destroying, I'd say the late goals conceded against Villa, Everton and 'boro had more of an impact.
