Done. Remember the days when this place could rig any internet vote going.

If they went for the Keegan kit, it would sell well over double the bet selling kit we've ever had. Even I would buy one.

Nope. Not paid. In fact, I got a 2nd ticket from the same place the other day. Ignored both and heard nothing. If I hear anything, I'll post it on here before throwing it in the bin.

Yep. Embarrassing. Won't be leaving the house again this weekend. Too embarrassed. Anyway, lovely to watch him struggle.

Merc C Class Vs Audi A4 Vs BMW 3 Series
Golden Balls replied to Golden Balls's topic in Motoring Forum
Indeed. I went to the Audi place in Chandlers Ford looking to try the A3 (potentially A4) with the intention of buying, it felt like I was an inconvenience to them. Just wanted rid of me and my money. Odd. Anyway, went to the BMW place round the corner. Treated like royalty and they did everything they could (or it seemed it) to get the car at the deal I wanted. Ended up with a 3 series sport. Very pleased Audi were such dicks now. Ended up with a much better car imo. -
No passengers. He was in a large transit van and I was in a car doing around 6-7mph. There's no chance he's injured. It was a while ago now and he hasn't claimed any form of injury. I sent a letter to my insurance 2 days after to inform them of the bump and that I have no intention to claim. Not heard anything back about that though. The damage was to his rear bumper. I rang around and found the part and fitting costs. No other damage. Literally no damage to my car at all. Just a slight scrape mark on the number plate.

I had a bump a while ago. Hit the back of someone else. Was going less than 10mph but damaged his bumper which I offered to pay for plus expenses. Sent a cheque after getting the quote etc and the guy has cashed that cheque. All done, move on....or so I thought. Got a call from my insurance company and he's now claiming through my insurance. **** Obviously a bit of a paper trail as I used a cheque but surely he wont have a leg to stand on as it's all been settled? Or am I going to end up paying out twice (it came to just under the amount of me excess) as well as losing my no claims?

Gaston loves a nutmeg.

So, anyway.... West Hams view Seems they find us calling Jay Rodriguez "JRod" embarrassingly childish, yet they blow bubbles at their games. Right then.
-
Thanks for clearing that up.

Think he works down the Rose Bowl now. He was very good to deal with and the ticket office certainly has gone downhill since he left.

There have been a few games we've completely dominated and only had to take 1 of our multiple chances to have come away with a win instead of a draw. The biggest one was the Villa game. 99/100 we'd have won that. Just a complete freak of a game. Hopefully we're saving our luck for the FA Cup.

This had the potential of a good thread. Why don't you just PM each other?

Most notice that he was an important cog in our rise through the leagues. He had a few downfalls and made mistakes, but overall was a success here. Especially for the price. He's also a very popular guy behind the scenes. The players and staff love him.
-
I do love a good self indulgent thread like this, even if it is a tad patronising towards Hull. Good to hear Bruce give us high paise. He did the same after the reverse fixture.
-
This is the big one. We will very rarely have such a good opportunity to give the cup a real good go. Hopefully we make it count.

I'm sat in a Subway in the centre of this horrible dump called Portsmouth and cracking up having read that. Brilliant.

Our match of the season is next Saturday

Very narrow minded way to look at it. Fitter players doesn't mean they're always 100%. Thing is that at such a high level, a loss of 5% fitness is huge. Back in the 80s etc they'd play more games but they would often be playing at 80% or less....against players who are in the same position. At this level in today's game, every percentage is massive. So resting is required to get the maximum from players who are also playing against players who are at their maximum. Therefore you either need a big squad or prioritise certain games, or both. -

I still think it's a minority. And if we progress past Sunderland then the excitement will build. I'd bloody love to see us win the FA Cup. Very jealous of my dad's stories from that summer. -
This worried me. But would Man U fans accept signing little Southampton players? They'll demand they sign stars to make up for such a poor season (by their standards)

Will any of you be tracking / keeping an eye on Osvaldo ?
Golden Balls replied to Saints boy in Leeds's topic in The Saints
Such a shame he's a tosser. Can see he's a top player -
Would be harsh on Davis. We're lucky with the 4 we have in there.

I'd love us to win the cup. For some it may not be, but to me it's still a very special competition. As far back as I can remember as a kid all I've ever wanted was Saints to win the FA Cup. -
If she was looking to sell or not invest any more, I wouldn't expect her to be at games like she has been. Therefore the only indication there has been to me is a positive one. Keeping the manager and players is key. I think everyone has accepted Shaw will be off though.
