IMHO the FIRST DEFENSIVE priority is to find a CB BETTER than Jose AND Jos. Good as they are we still need better there. The FIRST signing priority though HAS to be a proper RM who could also play LM if Adam is out for any time The SECOND priority is to fnd a CM who is BETTER than Morgan ad Cork the THIRD priority has to be finding that CB The FOURTH priority has to be finding a 4th striker (or do we expect DC LB & Guly to be the answer in the PL?) THEN we probably need a new RB Which, IMHO, puts the LB slot pretty far down the list, and I am happy to have Fox starting there next season Our SQUAD in the PL will be better than the last time we were there (hell I'd far rather have Butterfield at RB than Telfer!), BUT we need to bring the right quality with the right Mind Set and of course PACE

OK my view is that Fox has improved as the season has gone on. Certainly he can be caught out of position (agree with the comments about the Lallana cover in front of him). Certainly he can stand off too much and that has cost us gaols. But on the positive side his delivery from corners has been a game changer, I have no idea on the stats but it seems to me we have scored far more goals from corners this year than our previous stay in the Championship. The variation with his fizzed balls and Lallana's corners cause defences all sorts of problems. I seriously doubt he will be off to Spuds, yep it was on Twitter after all, BUT like Guly, I think he is better than many believe and LB is certainly a position where we will not have to strengthen during the summer until AFTER we have filled the priority areas (especially with Luke Shaw possibly stepping up to the bench next season) And anyway we still have Dickson in reserve to come back in from loan....

Define "Free Transfer". If it is a top level out of contract PL player then they would be expecting the "value they would be sold for" to be included in their wages. Which would wreck the harmony and equality in the squad (which WILL be crucial to us next season) If it is an unknown or someone being released by a club with financial problems and they are within the wage structure then there is no problem. In the PL as in life, statements about the size of your **** are irrelevant. Normally people who have large Dicks don't need to shout about it, so who needs big transfer fees? It's all about the results not the talking about it/showing off. I think we are all pretty happy with our last free transfer and would take a whole bunch more like him (Lee)
