  1. I think I'll sing a little song in memory of this moment... Posh Spice is a .................
  2. There, edited it for you for accuracy
  3. Yep, they all clearly love playing on cabbage patches in the frozen North on Tuesdays and having 300 mile trips home in the middle of the night.
  4. 5 days away from home and one point. Sounds bad but with the other results, meh, worrying rubbish bleah But it's still another point from another midweek cow patch. OK so we won't catch Brighton but the others are as inconsistent as we are. However - SORT this first half attitude out NA!
  5. That's because I'm back. OK boring drive to Yas Island. It was FREEZING cold in the wind on the beach having an Orange Juice (zero Drink Drive limit here) Had Fish & Chips for Dinner but laid out like Fine dining with the NINE chips in one of those Jenga style towers. The Mushy Peas were Manky tinned Garden Peas splattered with a potato masher and had sliced Onion and MINT added. HTH
  6. Abu Dhabi. Dubai is Bling. HTH
  7. Ooops sorry I forgot to add 37,348 ROFL's to my last post.
  8. Oh don't worry they'll be fine they'll be saved by The Russkies won't they?
  9. How Inter esting I wonder who might have been in Bompey today? Not that many really really noticeable expensive motor cars in the country, and how amusing that it was a mate who is staying here at the moment on business who heard about it as it was parked out side where his Fiancee works - oh how the great plans of Mice and Men fall apart Very amusing to see how a few media sources seem to be dancing around at the moment. If and it's a big IF, I have read this right we may have a new version of Bompey fan on a string to sing before too long.
  10. Evening all, sorry I'm late been to Abu Dhabi for work and bleah.
  11. Unless of course they were ever uttered by any Politician of any persuation in any part of the World
  12. Time for all us karaoke Kings to step down, the originals are back with a UK re-union tour.. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/music/music-news/8337883/Hey-Hey-Its...The-Monkees-reformation.html Lol God I feel old, The Monkees & JR Ewing back - it's all too much
  13. If only you'd announced this LAST weekend, I could have got my new BFF Tiger to come along Will PM if can help out
  14. Al Wasl vs Al Nasr is pretty mean, all those dishdashes howling down the street on two wheels in their 4x4's & doing aggressive donuts when they win. The grounds must be what all of a mile apart
  15. Nice thread guys. Back on subject. I may know a couple of really high quality Managers who could (for once) team up to manage the Ex Saints & Volunteers
  16. I have all due respect for Leon who moved heaven and earth at the time to save the club. I also think that along with MLT (who for a Malibu & Coke will tell his side of the story to anyone that will listen) Leon was screwed by Tony & Mickey, so actually I am not a d1ckhead, merely a prize pr1ck
  17. Yep and a great big one as well. However, you answered your own question which contradicted your post - CROUCH paid for exclusivity, NOT Pinnacle, and that small matter ALMOST caused ML to walk away. So IMHO the club received a loan from Leon that to all the evidence I have found so far was turned in to the exclusivity for Pinnacle. I'd love to be proved wrong, but the idea that Pinnacle had the money to pay for exclusivity will remain a lolage to anyone who saw the Mickey Fialka interview on the telly
  18. Oh enough of this. It was, and will always be Coombe Bissett CC vs Bishopstone CC. At least in football nobody ever doctors the pitch brings in ringers or tries to posion the Tea Ladies.
  19. Wow. He has changed the world. Time will tell if he has been a hero or a fool. I pray it is the former
  20. MLT did not think the same, he was fully updated on other options and other bids and who was behind them. He was extremely unhappy at being suckered into being "sombody's PR B1tch" (his exact words and posted on here after I spoke to him about it all when he was here for an event) Let's go back to the beginning. What happened to "The Saints Legend Match"? Start there, and then look again at the timings of "Loans to the club" it will give you pieces of a very big Jigsaw. It is also WHY all this should be closed NOW. It will hurt too many people unnecessarily, Sometimes sleeping Dogs should be left to lie. And, FYI the other Dodgy Dealers now own PL football TEAMS - note the plural
  21.:lol: That cracked me up, I bet you believe in Santa Claus as well! Or if I could find one I'd post one of those ORLY pictures of a cute Owl Give Leon or MLT a call
  22. Thing is, apart from the blue few, I really would NOT want any fan to go through the horrors and emotional turmoil we had to cope with. But, at the end of the day, the Board of the Football club spent more money than they had coming in to the club. That's very unfair on the fans, but until FIFA, UEFA & the FA/FL change the rules, they have made errors of judgement and spent money they did not have. So I feel extreme sympathy for their fans, but where were they marching when we protested about Lowe or when we questioned (or applauded) the crazy 7 million quid gamble on promtion back to the PL under Burley and the signing of Jason Euell to save us? Sorry, the fans do not deserve this but their Leadership spent money they did not have and beat us with a team they could not afford. Sorry, feck 'em I'll take promotion on the back of their demise in a heartbeat BECAUSE THEY WOULD DO THE SAME IF THE TABLES WERE TURNED. The planet is full of the Victims of Arrogance, we were and the Plymouth fans are. But this is Football and it is about where you finish in the League. Sure I will raise a glass to them and hope that they can get out of it - hell, I'll even give them the Dodgy Russkies from the Skates email address if they asked. But if we get promoted because they go bust - So be it, and I would happily join them in burning down the house or whatever they do of the idiots that spent too much (if I happen to be back that weekend of course & it wasn't deemed to be illegal or whatever)
  23. I hear there are plenty of seats available in Corporate. Just give Eddie a call and say you can't stand NC
  24. That takes me back to my days as an ST holder under West Stand standing. I saw it live and couldn't believe it I saw it on The Big Match couldn't believe it and watched it again and again and again. Awesome, thanks SoB
