I still fail to see how, (when the Points Deductions rules were established to deliberately punish clubs that cheated by spending more than they earnt) a club can have a business plan that calls for it to be Liquidated during a season can believe that they will NOT get any penalties. There are precedents for clubs being thrown out the League when they are Liquidated so how can the CHEATS be an exception?

OK now it's time to check - is SrS still online? or is HE taking the exam today? Has he been outed? Were the cameras there to film him? :-$

Totally agree..... However without any facts I thought I'd try and analyse the unfounded rumours starting way back when. Coppell seen at SMS. Was he the first choice? WGS seen at Staplewood, my rumour sources (unfounded) say he was offered the job but turned it down because he couldn't work with someone in the new team/ (Imagined at the time to AO who didn't last long) AP gets the job, experienced, wise old head grumbles from the fans but widely welcomed BUT was he 3rd Choice? If so there are the first doubts. Rumours that NC is let's say "Highly Strung" Unfounded rumours indicate that NC is on a whopping bonus to get to the PL figures bandied around from 500k to 5mil. January window comes along, NC & AP take the gamble buy the players, the team gets chopped and changed so doesn't gel as quickly as it should leading to inconsistent results in games we should win. NC is not happy, as much for seeing his cheque delayed by at least a year. It is at the end of the day all about the money. NC's background in Banking & High Finance shows he has a track record and this very public deal will have pushed his stock (market value) higher. He COULD earn huge bonuses back in that sector. So IMHO NC is mad as hell that he has to wait another year for his bonus cheque and the chance to cash in on his credibility. In his own mind he probably thinks that AP has cost him that year AND a good bonus cheque. So putting oneself in those shoes. You just got screwed out of a couple of million quid for a Stinking Pot of Paint.... Game Over AP, rationale is probably no where near that board room, just anger

Woo hoo, it's just like being back on an old takeover thread! :smt096

Carragher will be on the plane, no way Capello would have had the come back discussion. Makes useful cover across the back four. Barry will always start in midfield ahead of Joe Cole if fit. Bent will get left behind Johnson will go as will one of Lennon or Walcott then it becomes another Pace man (SWP) or the more all round creativity of Joe Cole. Imagine Crouchy getting on the end of Jonson's crosses, has to be an option off the bench as would the direct pace of Walcott who probably shades ahead of Lennon Milner would be a good cover for Cashley in an emergency so at least one of Warnock & Baines won't go One of Huddlestone or Parker will go depending on Barry's fitness Gonna fill a lot of newspaper back pages for the next few weeks

This can be equally read as... ML is not happy that there is a rift between AP & NC that has been allowed to reach the public domain and he wants to get both parties around the table to resolve the issues between them. One can read more interpretations into one comment than you can into a pile of statistics

I think he should start the job of rebuidling WHU straight away. In fact he should start work tomorrow

Fair argument IF this was about pay, but it isn't. The Union are making a stand to stop erosion of "perks" and "business processes". In the long run the cost (ie Pay) issue is what BA are aiming at, however at this stage the Unions have basically decided (in very simplistic terms) to make their stand over issues such the reduction of the number of crew on certain flights - each flight has a CSD Cabin Service Director who doesn't serve. All other airlines CSD serves in First Class (Not the most stressed section of the plane) Unite are destroying the Ozone layer by forcing BA to carry extra fuel to carry the CSD who's only task I've ever seen is chatting to the rest of the crew.

Yes there is Double the pay of their nearest competitor 5 Star Hotel Accomodation with generous daily allowances Retained well into their 70's (you SEEN some of their aircrew these days? they used to serve drinks on Zeppelins) Slower turn-round rates and duty rosters than most of their competitors. The idiots at Unite have forgotten ONE pretty important point. BA do not pay their salaries - WE do when we use them

It's smoke Now be useful and go find the fire

from the other angle, the bigger the mess has become the easier it would eventually be to say - It's no good we give up, we did all we could, the club is gone. And for the Tesco's & Housing planning application to be lodged the same day. AA could be buying time for the Architects to finish their designs

Ah Clarkson - there's another story for the Forum match after party... But you are right, this was a darned amusing thread until the Thought Police forgot what they were typing

Well, as it seems that Wednesday is the new Friday when something momentous is due to happen I guess by the end of today we are likely to at least narrow down the options. If the Board Meeting passes by with no drama then we can likely assume it was a Commercial Mistake. If something else happens....... then.......

Lol I wonder which member of the Elite TSW attack force Photshopped that and sent it through to AA :finga: And no I'm not that type of Intelligent Evil Mastermind & don't have photoshop unfortunately. But I do wish I had thought of that and other evil wheezes

Now, before we all click on the link let's see if we can guess who came up with the candidate for post of the Year and who posted it?

Fair and true. However in comparison what quad did Norwich START the season with? Did they retain the bulk of their CCC squad or was it torn to pieces? We started with a squad that was not good enough for the CCC and lost Surman, Dyer, McGoldrought, BWP, our loan defenders and others.

6 Prominent TSW members travel to Dubai on Business/Vacations, drink too many Bullfrogs and have not been seen or heard of since they were last spotted in the Seaview Hotel. LLS is a dead cert to buy Pompey TSW are credited/ not credited by the Mass Media for inventing the names Al Mirage, Storrieteller & Android. Muffins make a surprising comeback in stores across the Southampton Area

Yep sack them all and outsource the shortage of capacity to Wet Lease aircraft These strikes won't work and just wait they'll add on dates to screw up fans going to the World Cup. Capello et al should make sure they switch to Virgin for their trip down Protecting their members? Yeah I know where I'd stick their fecking members
-
Oh thanks a bloody lot FF. There goes me all screwed up for my fecking flight back for the Forum match Well done bunch of ****s
-
Ah The Dark Side. Must head off down that way again soon. Seaview, Yorke, Rattlesnake, Rock Bottom. Hopefully we have a passing TSW member here in a couple of weeks should be the excuse we need to head off and do "The Tour"
-
Ap asked for it to be withdrawn? Well perhaps he made some positive comments and said some nice things about people and then found out they weren't as nice as he thought? e.g Praise Lallana to be told before the game he was leaving e.g. thanks NC for his support having been told he's on his bike e.g he made an ommission in his list of people he thaked that caused him to think they would be upset. e.g. None of the above

OK you local uberfans in Woolston. It's gone 9am, get useful and bumble down to the local Ladbrokes and get some independent confirmation for us. We'd try and Google it ourselves, but as you know we get hit by a Swat Team Raid for just thinking the word Gam*le let alone typing it into Google

Good morning, glad I slept well, as this monring I am starting to feel as if I may be getting closer to knowing what it is I don't know that I don't know. If we keep this up I may get up to speed in time to place a bet on what I don't know I don't know

Me too, but worried about Ancelotti's comments I hope the lads have recovered from their celebrations in time for the match next week... Just our luck if Chelski used up all their goal allowance for the season....
