  1. along the sex is on fire theme, Woooooooooaaaaahhh Adam Lallaaaaaaaaaaanna The boy is on fiii-aree!! etc.
  2. Imagine you wanted to go to the cinema to catch a film only to be told by Odeon or the likes that the only way you can sit in one part of the cinema is if you buy tickets for every other film that year..........bloody ludicrous!
  3. To be frank, I was moved from block 2 to block 4, now sit/stand in my own st seat in row dd, sing all game, yesterday, despite the lack of walk ups, I think the atmosphere in the I.N was the best all season, - well in the second half at least.
  4. I sit/stand at the back of block 4 and 90% of the other more vocal element of blocks 4/5 seem to be st holders so if they are trying to stop the "lads" area of the Itchin north this is not the way imho
  5. a lad on one of our coaches to Rovers got done by the OB for ****ing in their car park, the funny thing was that it was the third time he'd been unlucky enough to be pulled by the OB for ****ing in public and the Magistrates ordered him to have psychiatric assessments. I'd never embarrass anyone enough to mention names so don't worry Boiley your past is safe with me! BTW don't ever remember getting to Eastville before kick off (well on the pitch at least )

    Violence

In my football going memory, which spans back to the early 70's I'd say that the only violence to be anywhere near the West Ham/Millwall trouble was the semi at Highbury. - Main news on News @ Ten and front page on all the Sunday's. Other memorable "off's" were as previously mentioned @ Brighton, (saw someone stabbed right in front of me), the Bristol away games, a Chelsea night game in about 74? stabbings under the East Stand, and one team that I have a personal problem with - Villa, always seem to be looking for it with Saints, Pitch invasion @ our last game of the season in the late 90's, and a mate of mine got a bottle in the face for being in the wrong pub once at that ****hole.
  7. "quite interesting"! thats FAF!!
  8. the latest incarnation was tweaked by a Soton Co called Graphic Workshop who got paid by Lowe with 6 season tickets for five years. This was back in the 90's I think. One of the changes was to the ball design, the other was a subtle change to the pattern on the rose. The original design was indeed a compo winner I think.
  9. I seem tot remember that he died in a car smash ironically on his way to the Dell years ago
  10. If you watch a couple of the other linked you tubes with Hearts fans, they've got a classic, made me LOL, "shoes off if you hate Hibeees" ! Take a look..
  11. Firstly, I do know Nick and so this is not just conjecture, Nick kind of adopted the trust my default and it was in a right mess when he did. The only cheque signituary had moved from the country and their bank had frozen the account. Nick does care passionately about Saints. Lowe did confide a lot of the financial predicament to him and my take on his strategy leading to the admin was that he was really fearful that the club might either fold or find a crap buyer with no proper backing. True he does bang on a bit, it's normally the press who contact him, but lay off the guy please. How many of you stood outside the ground with buckets? He spends a considerable percentage of his life supporting the club and organising things on behalf of other fans. Back to the trust, Nick probably thinks that in it's current guise it's a lame duck. I don't get fans slagging off other fans when they're just trying to do something to help in their spare time. Sorry if there's typo's but typed this on my phone!
  12. I remember our trip to Bucharest from Heathrow had quite a few Hearts fans on their way to a Waffer cup game. - To our disgust, (and it very nearly kicked off at 35,000ft) a few of them had Hearts/Pompey badges on. Can't remember the tie up between them but sure they said there was one. So, have the fishy one's got a game Sat? could well decide to support their Sweaty brothers?
  13. Legend in his own mind!!
  14. I don't think you can sign and exchange a sale agreement unless the funds are available
  15. Just in case I'm wrong I'll tell you where I heard the news. A good mate works for a local training company and he's had some of the academy managers in for the week. They have become friendly and today they told him that the deal was done this morning, they have met the new "boss" and they joked that they have now been promised the two new mini buses that they have been asking for for two years!. Now this is pretty flimsy I know, I don't think that my normal source would be privy to this so maybe true, maybe ********.. don't shoot the messenger...please
  16. I've just heard from a buddy that the deal was signed this morning, to be announced this afternoon, I might be wrong, but hey ho.
  17. For me personally, if I was head of a mega super rich family I'd be looking to lay off some of the Man City type inflated prices when buying players by hiding behind a less known or wealthy member of the family?
  18. Some of you will recall my connections, - if the DD is as shocking as I'm led to believe then its no surprise the man has his work cut out.
  19. That'll teach ya for drinking in the Waltham Wine Bar!
  20. So I'll put you down as a definite 1, (actually, a right one!) If this was an anonymous poll I wonder if the replies might be slightly less candid!
  21. I have watched with amazement the "Lads **** up to Weymouth" thread and this has led me to ponder the question.... What category of fan posts on the board most? I mean by this are you; 1/ Never been in trouble at football or elsewhere and deplore all things rough and loutish. 2/ Like a good old sing song and stand up at away's but think violence is stupid and keep away from it at all costs. 3/ Retired hoolie from the 70's 80's now watch the yoof with a knowing "in my day" attitude. 4/ Like to get ****ed before during and after and when inebriated sometimes get carried away (if you get the drift!) 5/ Member of the new Ultra Saints Yoof firm and fully paid up Stone Island model. If anyone admits to 5 I'll be amazed. There was such a cross section of opinion on the Weymouth trip I think it would make an interesting side show from all the take over dribble thats just going over and over old ground to see just what the typical Saints Web poster is? Poll would be good if there is the interest. Me, before you ask, well I really should say 1 or 2, but in all honesty, after a few before the game I'm probably between a 2 and 3.
  22. I think referring to staff missing pay day as "a funny one" is not coming accross well to me!!
  23. Unfortunately, I don't think they have a money man with enough motivation to drive the deal through, If it does go through in the end I think we are all going to be underwhelmed with the transfer budget (or lack of) albeit I think they have Matty on board so either he's been suckered (don't think so) or they do genuinely mean well. ALL IMHO.
  24. Sorry to sound like a party popper, but I can't stop worrying that there actually isn't a mr big which is why no one knows for sure who he/she is. Maybe pinnicle have just about scrapped together enough to buy the club and are either banking on euphoria from the fans to rush forward with season ticket purchases or they are even now broking to sell it straight on and make a couple of mil. Don't get me wrong, I will be as made up as everyone else and will be front of the line for my ST but this is Saints don't forget.
  25. I think you'll find tomorrow is pay day at SMS, this is why tomorrow is, or could be critical.
