This is true, especially in smaller businesses. Why would you want to get rid of your best staff? If you're in trouble, these are the very people you want/need to keep. Therefore many small businesses will work the system to this effect. This in itself can be deemed unfair, as the selection process has been skewed. At the same time, it is totally understandable.

I was thinking about this too. The most Huddersfield can get is 24 points and they are 2 points ahead, so to guarantee promotion 26 points is the target, so 8 wins and 2 draws guarantees promotion assuming hudds and/or posh win all of their remaining games. A draw between hudds and posh wil mean that we would only need 24 points which would be 8 wins and two defeats or 7 wins and 3 draws (assuming hudds and posh win all of their remaining games)

It's not as bad as they say.......it's worse than that Going on a Med cruise at the beginning of August on the new Norwegian Epic. I employ a similar tactic, which is easier to do with an auto. Simply 'touch' the break pedal with your left foot (which is enough for the break lights to come on) and simultaneously floor your right foot on the accelerator. They slow down (thinking you are breaking) whilst you are actually accelerating. Not that I deliberately go out of my way to wind people up.

Here's yours truly with 3 others in your South Stand... Not to mention one of ours who got a bit carried away after the 2nd went in. I am surprised you didn't miss his goal celebration from your end - the look on the Bompey faithful was priceless. I knew at least 12 in the South stand and there were quite a few others.
