Pretty mad that people feel the need to abuse others in that way. I'd like to say I can't believe some of those comments but sadly I can. As for going to games on your own, I don't think there's anything out of the ordinary in that. I've done it, I remember the Championship relegation season when everyone sacked games off because we were awful and the club was in a mess. Reckon I went to about 6 by myself that season. I have even gone to the odd away game on my own when mates haven't been able to make it. People moaning about the safe space is ridiculous. The club routinely give up areas to groups of supporters. It's not like we sell out most games anyway so no one is depriving anyone else of a ticket in that way. I agree ticket prices put games out of financial reach of some people but that's a different argument. Good luck with everything.

Again, hypothetical. No one knows. All the people who want Hasenhuttl sacked should be protesting to the board because they are the people who make that decision. I take it you are all chanting about this at matches and writing to Martin Semmens as you seem very passionate about it?
-
Does it matter what would happen at any other club? It's all hypothetical anyway because what happens after the sacking is completely unknown. Say Palace sacked Hodgson after two 9-0 losses but then appointed a new manager who ended up getting them relegated. Would that have been ok because they sacked the man who oversaw two heavy defeats, or should they have kept Hodgson? Same with us, we could have sacked Hasenhuttl and then got relegated under a different manager. No one knows. You seem incredibly hung up on those two defeats. I get that they were terrible but really, who cares anymore?

Are they? Have you asked every teacher? Maybe the ones who are fearful of covid didn't attend because it doesn't look like all the teachers in the country are in that room to me. I know loads of teachers and pretty much all of them had normal levels of concern about covid when it first started. Many were saying they wanted to get back to work properly months before schools were allowed back. That post is so idiotic it's hit a new level of twattishness even for you.

No doubt we could get a decent manger on the same wages as he's on. If we decide to sack him which is expensive and then appoint a manager who isn't a free agent that's where finances become problematic. I just can't see us paying him off and forking out compensation to another team for their manager.

This is the main problem. Even yesterday we should have scored one or even 2. Obviously wouldn't have made a difference to the result but there are plenty of games where it will. Our goals per shots ratio must be one of the worst in the league.

Mendy nearly gifted Man Utd 3 points then with a terrible pass. Even the best keepers make mistakes with their feet as Allison has also done this season.
-
Stupid penalty for Man Utd to give away after they managed to nick the lead.

You realise that getting pregnant isn't always as easy as just shoving it in without contraception?

People are always learning though aren't they? Doesn't matter how many years they have been playing or managing there's always scope to know more.

Just lulling them into a false sense of security. All part of the plan. I'm at a fucking freezing Sholing watching a so far very drab 0-0 Southern League game. Should have gone to Anfield instead to see our epic comeback draw.

This has 3-3 written all over it.

Here's the miss that cost Whelk £3.50.
-
Redmond will be happy that Aubameyang just eclipsed his terrible miss this season.

No it doesn't count. Not wanting to tempt fate here but a keeper can throw it into his own net. Seems a strange rule really as there's no chance on earth a keeper would be able to throw one in the opposing goal.
-
Not sure how old you are but there's a classic example in a Birmingham derby when a player threw the ball back to Peter Enckleman in goal, he went to control it, but messed up and it took a slight touch off his foot and went in. If he'd have completely missed it the goal wouldn't have counted.

The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.
The Cat replied to CB Fry's topic in The Lounge
Some people want to come to the UK because they already have family and friends here and therefore somewhere to stay. As FTF says above this is a whole world issue and in no way just related to us. I don't actually think it's something the government can ever completely solve. The sheer desperation of some people, and the money made by others, will mean that a number will get around whatever measures are put in place -
I tend to avoid the "big team" away days so have only been to 4 games at Anfield. A 0-0 draw on the last day of the season which stopped them getting into Europe. Think that was under Strachan. A 2-1 defeat on New Year's Day when Soltvedt scored our goal and they nicked a winner near the end. Gerrard scored a cracker in the first half. A 1-1 when Ramirez equalised late on and the Shane Long game. A pretty good record to be fair and lots of late goals.

Why do Saints not have an independent supporters trust?

I was at that meeting when Chorley threw coins at Lowe. It was hilarious when Lowe read out that letter. Is that fans voice group thing still going? Remember some dude on here being involved but can't say I've seen anything about it for quite a while. -
I'm with Bulb who are going into administration. Checked my account a few weeks ago and for some bizarre reason they reckon I'm £2200 in credit. No wonder the company is going belly up if that's the way they run their accounts.

I know someone who works in cricket. They described him in a very unfavorable way, something which is apparently well known by those in the game. It's certainly a very messy situation which has ended up dragging a load of people in. Not sure anyone is coming out of it very well. Cricket was always viewed as a gentleman's game but it appears that is not so as there's been loads of examples of unsavoury behaviour in recent times.

Hopefully Stu Armstrong and Redmond will be back for this as we could really do with them. Going back to that Shane Long match I remember Redmond having a great game against Alexander Arnold. He was obviously a bit of a rookie then but Redmond took him apart that evening.
-
I'm not a massive fan either. Have seen them live and will be again while they are playing small venues for a tenner but I wouldn't buy a record or pay £35 to see them at a Guildhall size place. Anyway, nice finish from Adams on Saturday. Hopefully he'll carry on this little goalscoring run.
-
They are everywhere at the moment and will probably end up being massive. They come from IOW so most important thing we need to find out is if they are Saints or Pompey.

That's fine at certain levels but unless you are insanely talented there's no place for people relying on just ability these days. Look what happend to Ozil. One of the purest footballers around but Arsenal ditched him because he stood around doing nothing without the ball. I guess he gets picked because he follows instructions better than someone like Tella. Could be wrong but that's my theory anyway.
