  1. Presumably these type of player stats only available for Premier League teams? I'd have been interested to see Gunn's this season to see where he stands in comparison with the other 2 keepers.
  2. Another point regards CB's as Saints have posted today that Bednarek had the most interceptions in the league. I wonder how much this makes a difference when you analyse overall performance. His tackling % is low, however he might not have to make as many tackles because he is making an interception instead.
  3. Doesn't Walker Peters have the most successful dribbles in the league or something like that? He's excellent at taking the ball from midway in our half to the opponents box but then suffers from a lack of technique when it comes to the final ball or pinging in a decent cross. If we had someone at LB with similar attributes it would make a huge difference to the balance of the team.

    Coronavirus

Government have screwed pretty much the whole thing up other than the vaccine rollout. If they'd banned flights from India when they should have done we'd be laughing by now, but no, yet again they were too slow to do the obvious thing and here we are with rising cases that their shitty track and trace system can't keep down. We have an absolute shambles of a government.
  5. There's an interesting analysis on his penalty saving technique on this Twitter thread. Shows how much technical ability it takes to save a good shot, it really isn't a case of just diving the right way as many people think.
  6. The video is fun. The bit with Matty made me laugh out loud. Kit is decent. Who is going to be the first to post that Ings isn't in the video so he must be off?
  7. We might know whether all his claims are completely accurate if he releases texts and other messages to the committee. As said above there is a lot of detail in some of the statements and having watched some of the questioning live he came across as believable. There was no floundering around and avoiding questions like Johnson does when he's backed into a corner.
  8. Calling Johnson "an out of control shopping trolley" is a beautiful description. It's a damning account of the ineptitude of the government's handling of covid, much of will still probably be glossed over in the eyes of voters because of the success of the vaccine rollout.
  9. That really winds me up. I have no qualms about giving our own players a bit of abuse if they roll around making out they are hurt and Djenepo is easily the worst for this sort of behaviour.
  10. Ours are the same price. Kingsland padded seats being more than the middle of the Itchen seems weird to me. It's much better to sit by the dugouts.
  11. Yeah. Loads of people had flags but they singled him out, must have been worried he was going to try and shove it up Rupert's arse or something.
  12. Were you there the day they wouldn't let Clive Foley in the Archers with a flag because it had a small wooden pole attached to it?
  13. Adding a vaccine status to tickets is beyond a joke. By the time the season starts pretty much every adult would be fully jabbed up, and if you are one of the people who is refusing it then you know what the consequences are. Regards electronic tickets, can't you screenshot it and send to a friend? They never check them properly.
  14. Is that graphic a new one or is it from last season? If it's new then it has the premium seats are £899 and not £999? And what's the loyalty price, is that those of us who had season tickets in League 1? I'm confused now.
  15. In today's big game Sholing U15's won Tyro division 1 after beating Stoneham 1-0. It's so nervy watching matches like that when one of your kids is involved.

    Coronavirus

Hancock seems confident that further easing of restrictions in June will still happen. Vaccines work against all variants and we'll have even more people protected by then.
  17. Is it going to be the same price in the middle of the Itchen? Having sat in that section between the dugouts and the clock for cup games they have to be the best seats in the stadium.
  18. Love the fact Super Furries make the original list. Definitely one of my favourite bands. Gruff Rhys is a bit of a legend as far as I'm concerned.
  19. Pretty sure no one on here who watched Eurovision is buying, downloading or streaming any of the songs to complement their current collection which would most likely already include a number of the acts on that list. It might have had held more weight if Kate Bush had replaced Oasis who are one of the most insanely overrated bands ever. In fact I'd rather listen to our nul points Eurovision entry than them any time. Quite weird to include Stone Roses. One exceptional album and some follow up fodder isn't worthy of putting them on a list which excludes giants of the music industry who sold far more records and were hugely influential like Elton John, Black Sabbath, George Michael, Queen, Fleetwood Mac and The Who. I'd even have Stormzy on there above Stone Roses but he wouldn't fit the demographic of the original list.
  20. Goes to show how little I watch England because I didn't know that.
  21. Bit weird that Ian Wright isn't involved, or are there more people that aren't in the photo? I like Wright, he's passionate like a proper fan but also quite funny.
  22. There are plenty of fans who enjoy going to watch their team play outside the Premier League. Head down to any local non-league match and speak to people in the ground and you'll find out. There's a whole world of football outside the top 20 clubs, the vast majority of teams have never been in the top flight and never will be.
  23. It really doesn't matter if you are in it or not, there's hundreds of teams outside the Premier League? Is it bad for all of them? You don't come across as someone who attends games at all and don't show any empathy or understanding of other supporters opinions.
  24. Really enjoying watching a game with fans that matters. Great noise when Brentford got their 3rd goal.
  25. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Here comes Shane Long.
