Who does everyone want to come up from the Championship? Has to be Brentford for me, new ground, reasonably close. They seem like a well run club who play good football.

Vaccines work against the Indian variant. Cases still flat.

Is handball denying a goal not a red card anymore? I thought that was different to a handball which is stopping a cross?

Birmingham City v Saints - FA Cup 5th Round - Match Thread

3-0 down. Birmingham are a class above but then that's to be expected as they are leagues above and play every week whereas Saints have only had FA Cup games since lockdown eased. -
Our squad would be massively upgraded with 5 or 6 of their players. Whether they would start every match is debatable although Pope, Tarkowski and Taylor would walk in to the first team.

Birmingham City v Saints - FA Cup 5th Round - Match Thread

I did wonder when the next game was, seems ages since they beat Yeovil. Birmingham are a top league team albeit one in turmoil. Their manager just resigned but will still be in charge today. Good chance to watch a women's double header today with the Champs League final on too. -
Bad planning on my part as we're right at the back of the stand and anyone moving forward to get near the pitch for the lap of honour will be risking a socially distanced talking to from an over officious steward and a 3 year ban.

That decision had the biggest impact on our season and a large contribution to the terrible run which started at that time. Red card and penalty and it's extremely likely we win that game. Also KWP might not have got injured which hugely unsettled the team.

I have 4.50 FFS. At the Man City game it was simple to get in and took no time at all. I know there are more people but it's only a third of capacity so shouldn't take long. Doubt that they'll refuse entry to anyone arriving after their time slot. At that time of day you could easily get stuck at work or something.

If he's as shocking and useless as everyone makes out why does he get picked so much? The way people go on about him you'd have thought that the manager might have noticed and he'd be nowhere near the team. Yesterday we had Djenepo, Walcott and Tella who can play in the same position as him sat on the bench. Hasenhuttl obviously rates him more than the fans. If you want to compare player stats then go ahead. Redmond has a better passing accuracy, creates more big chances (6, Walcott has 1 and Djenepo none) and has had more shots on target. I don't love Redmond and find him frustrating at times however he gets far too much unnecessary abuse from fans. He has been ok for us. Not great, not terrible. Definitely doesn't deserve some of comments hurled at him though.

Cases still seem relatively flat. If there was a more transmissible variant then you'd have thought more people would be testing positive.

They said similar size of which there are plenty of teams with around 25k to 30k capacity stadiums. There's also plenty of clubs who would average a similar attendance as us if they were in the top flight for the same amount of time. Therefore his point is correct.
-
Pretty straightforward win today, wouldn't expect anything less since Fulham were relegated and left some of their better players out. Adams very good, I liked Tella for his attitude, pace and smile after he scored. Hope he gets a a decent amount of game time in the last 2 to help his development. The 3 cb's all did well and Armstrong and Ward Prowse put in solid performances.
-
Size of club isn't quantified by seasons in the top flight though. Most people would agree size is down to number of fans and stadium capacity, and in that respect he was correct. Some similar size clubs are 2 leagues below us.
-
Some of their players are better than ours but we're above them in the table which must mean Hasenhuttl is a better manager than Dyche.

Had my second jab this morning. Not sure why I was bumped up the queue as I only had the first one 7 weeks ago.

Who is ordering them to do it? It's perfectly reasonable to believe one story by a news agency but disbelieve others. I hate the Mail but they still pull out decent investigative journalism at times.

Sign up to Binance or Coinbase. Deposit some money, buy some bitcoin or Ethereum. I guess Safemoon is an Ethereum based token but I'm not sure what exchange it's on so you might have to sign up to a different exchange and move Eth across to trade for Safemoon. It's all quite easy really.

I'm in the last group and managed to get tickets which is a massive surprise.

Definitely player of the season. He seems to be building a good CM partnership with Ward Prowse and this may save us a few quid as there's now less need to buy another midfielder if he can cover there.
-
The way I see this is that he did prefer a small squad in Germany (less games, less physical) and wanted to implement the same here but once he realised how much more effort is required in the Premier League and how much a few key injuries at the same time weakened the team he decided otherwise. People are allowed to change their mind, although for some posters this evidently is not the case if you manage Saints.
-
To save his arse from what? There's no way he would be sacked. We've spent all season playing squad players because of injuries, he's probably seen all he needs to and apart from Jankewitz everyone has had a decent number of minutes.
-
We've done it a few times but only briefly, was nice to see it being given more of a chance. Salisu could be a key player in that he gives us the ability to switch more comfortably.
-
Nice win that. Good to see us coming from behind, weather a bit a of a storm and come out the other side with what ended up being quite a comfortable win.

Ward Prowse doing his shit housing again against Palace. Should do it more often.
