Fair point. Those that only go once or twice a season often load up at the megastore too. My thinking is that once you start going regularly as a kid you will carry that on and are more likely to buy season tickets as an adult. Those who go randomly may not quite get the same bug. Maybe the price increases is partly because the family stand is, evening games aside, often the easiest to sell out and the club are confident that will be the same even with an increase on single match tickets. There must be some business logic in halving ST prices but increasing match tickets or they wouldn't have done it.

It's bad the free Under 11 ticket has been scrapped, but they did halve the cost of an U11 season ticket to £50 which is an absolute bargain. Maybe they want to encourage parents to bring their kids every week rather than fill the family stand with day trippers. Makes sense to get the kids hooked at a young age because they are more likely to spend years coming back.

The prologue might suit Alex Dowsett. Would be beautiful if he took yellow.

Sagan might have to win the green jersey without much assistance from his team if they are all looking after Contador, but he has the maverick ability to do it. Just great to have so many Brits. In a way I hope Froome falls off early to give Thomas and Kennaugh a few chances to show what they can do. Roche too. Sky have so many good riders it's a pity they'll spend all their time nannying Froome.

Players come, players go. On the whole he was an excellent buy for us. Pity we won't get to see him play for us in his prime but he did a great job while he was here. Give it a couple of seasons and he'll be leaving Liverpool for a better club.

Who will they get now? Is Redknapp's leg better yet?

Depends on the weather. Also a lot of people are on holiday at that time of the year and have to start saving for Christmas. Or something.

They also don't have any of their finances in offshore accounts. Oh no, not at all.

Exactly. It's the tat Next and M&S can't sell in their normal stores. Oh, I forgot the Superdry shop so you can have a T-shirt with the same logo as 87% of other people and the Chinese restaurant with a 0 food rating.

I don't get why people think Gunwharf is so great? Obvious shops, predictable restaurants, shockingly expensive parking. The marina bit looks alright and the Spinnaker is fine if you like tall things but it really isn't that interesting.

We're getting another Nandos. In your face Portsmouth.

That will be a true test of not only the players but also the backroom staff from the medical department to the scouts and the coaches. There's a lot of planning involved in football and the extra matchload will stretch everyone.

No because there are other variables such as owners, manager, injuries etc. But what we have currently in terms of structure and set up should keep us up and around those places for a while to come. Other teams don't have as many good players as us, if they did the top clubs would be buying them. There were people here lauding Swansea for keeping Bony, didn't last long.
-
But only if the teams below us don't sell their best players. The only club with the sort of clout to do that is Everton, I don't see any of the other teams between 8th-10th holding on to anyone the top clubs want.

I take it moving to Liverpool is a good enough reason for us to boo him next season. Also do Palace get any cut of the deal?

You're funny.

Good news, he'll do just fine. -
Stephens is a CB now and spent all season playing there for Swindon. Mugabi is our U21 RB.
-
Having witnessed him play for us a fair few times I'm somewhat surprised his punches found the intended target.
