  1. He's the skidmark in the forum's gusset.
  2. Josh Sims was the left winger who came on. Cropper pulled off a few decent saves but there looked a lack of communication between him and the defence at times, maybe they have just got used to playing with Gazza.
  3. Yes, thanks. Interesting stuff.
  4. Just back. We started the much stronger had some decent chances but once they scored we let them dictate play and there was no way back. Their number 8 bossed the game in midfield and their 11 had the run of Mugabi all evening. McQueen did well first half, some lovely touches and good runs. Not many other positives to be honest. Jaidi was doing most of the touchline coaching. Seems that Hunter had a broken arm?
  5. Strong team, pity about Rodriguez. Heading off to the ground now for my penultimate visit to St Mary's this season (kids tournament on Sunday)
  6. Any truth in the rumour that Rodriguez is playing tonight?
  7. Austin is much more than just a poacher. For a decent and reasonably obvious example check his run and cross for QPR's first goal against Newcastle.
  8. There aren't many sets of fans who would outsing the others for 90 minutes in this country. Strangely one of the most one-sided matches I saw for that this season was when Cambridge put in nearly 90mins solid against the normally excellent Man Utd away fans who were near silent. Villa outsung us on the whole yesterday. I do agree about the cup final helping as they would definitely not have made as much noise without that. Our fans were fine yesterday. The stand up bit included the whole ground which was good.
  9. Yeah, but it is funny.
  10. Yeah, sorry, the league game. The one when he claws a looping header out from behind him. Incredible.
  11. I was there. They had a crappy concert after, and no fans allowed on the pitch. Compare to our last game at the Dell, which wasn't long before, it was a pretty dull way to say goodbye to the stadium.
  12. Very possibly. I'm never one to turn down a visit to St Mary's.
  13. Forster's save from Giroud in the cup was his best by a long way in my opinion.
  14. Great goal from Milner
  15. A bit lucky with the deflection there, but we'll take it.
  16. I'm in the family stand. Their fans were better than ours apart from the 20 mins before half time.

    Mane

There's a lot of judgemental, reactionary idiots in the world. Some of them happen to like football and some of them happen to support Saints.
  18. Pubs around town were very busy after the game. Good to see most people stay in the ground to applaud the team on their lap of whatever it's called.

    Djuricic

Anyone know if we have an option on him and how much it is? I'd take him pretty much on the strength of that flick for the last goal alone.
  20. I'd love him here. Imagine him and Mane on either wing *drools*
  21. To be fair their fans were good. I didn't notice many (if any) empty seats in their end suring the second half. Most of those going down after the 4th were probably going to get beer.
  22. Our squad is so buff we should have just not bothered with shirts and played in skins. I, for one, would have found it slightly arousing.
  23. Seven Swans is a great album. I got into him through that because at the time I was listening to a lot of electronica. His evolving output has somewhat mirrored my changing music taste although he's yet to attempt a reggae album.
  24. Listening to Sufjan's massive catogue of festive songs is one of the most enjoyable parts of Christmas.
  25. Drove past the ground last night. 2 huge pictures of Ward Prowse wearing the new shirt were being put up either side of the entrance.
