Holgate. Played very well today, got some crucial blocks and tackles in and kept it simple with the ball. Tough game today, I'd say that's our best win of the season. They were well organised, strong and physical. Ref seemed to lose it at the end after actually seeming to be one of the more decent ones we've had this season. It was only a cameo but Stewart looks like he has all the attributes we need. Good touch, technique, height and strength.

Yes they are playing Last Post. Also a 20% discount on food and drink for season ticket holders in the concourse between 1330 and 1430 if you fancy a less overpriced burger before the game.

3-0, Dibling with a nice finish.

2-0, Dibling assist for the second. I missed the first goal.

Bazunu is 21, even a once in a generation freak like Donnarumma didn't win those achievements at such a young age for a keeper. When Martinez was 21 he was playing one game in a season for Oxford. Pretty sure back then no one was touting him to win all the awards you mentioned. Personally I'm glad we haven't binned Bazunu. I like watching young players grow into a team and improve. Similarly Leeds haven't binned Meslier who has had a very similar start to his career as Bazunu and has been their number 1 for 4 seasons now.

I think Mane was injured but agree with the rest of the post. Was very deflating stood in the away end watching that, same as Prague which was a very limp performance.

If this argument works then does it not mean that Nathan Jones is a better manager than Guardiola because we beat Man City last season?
-
If he had made the same save he'd have no doubt got a load of shit for pushing the ball back into the middle and being lucky that one of their players wasn't stood there for a tap in. If he'd done what Martinez did the other day this board would have exploded.

Redknapp getting in a load of jokers on loan.

Been a while since last "where are they now (posters)" thread?

Why the mods put up with that twat and his various logins for so long is beyond me. -

Weren't they a husband and wife who shared a login? I thought it was S and L Moore. Once saw the bloke put his Saints shirt on over a hoody in the pub before walking to St Mary's. FFS. -

Was it Morph who always signed off every post with IMHO? -
Bayern Munich game was incredible. 3 red cards in the first half. 0-0 at half time. Final score 8-0.

I expected more of him so far but he's spent a long time not playing so will give him the benefit of the doubt. His foul yesterday was absolutely hilarious. Great finish for the goal too.
-
That was silly. He didn't need to check the one by our fans though because the linesman was there. Was a weird thing for the Hull fans to get all funny about.
-
Seemingly there's less weird comments about his hair since we started winning.

We're in good form, they aren't. By all accounts they were poor yesterday as well. With Manning suspended it will weaken us at FB with Walker Peters having to move across and Bree or Holgate coming in. Hopefully none of the other players have any injuries after yesterday and we can carry on putting out a reasonably settled core of the team.

At this moment the main thing we miss is a striker. Leicester have the luxury of bringing someone like Iheanacho on from the bench with Vardy starting. Daka can't even get on the pitch in some games. We have a disinterested Che Adams, Alcaraz, who is not a striker and largely ineffective in that position, or Mara. Ross Stewart really should massively improve us as a team when he starts because he'll give us so many more options. Hopefully that's not too long away now.

Some great goals in the Norwich v Leeds game.

Good second half, deserved that as we finished strongly. Great finish from Fraser. Thought Mara did well when he came on, chased back to stop a Hull break and then involved in the goal too.

Ex regular transfer window link Curtis Davies made his international debut aged 38 for Sierra Leone tonight in a 2-0 win over Somalia.

San Marino somehow equalised against Denmark in the second half but then went 2-1 down.
