He's already outed himself as a Chris de Burgh fans so credibility was zero in the first place.
-
I'm at a festival with sporadic internet connection so it's going to be hard to keep up. They really should have some sort of deadline day free wifi here.
-
I'd imagine fans of most clubs in the top 2 leagues have had kids who were highly rated at some point, although some of the ones you list I would argue haven't been necessarily bigged up as rising stars more than any other academy player. Of those Hesketh and Flannigan are at Sholing, Gape and McCarthy at Wycombe, McQueen obviously retired, Turnball at Tranmere. Watts still here, was on loan at Morecambe last year. Tchaptchet is at Grenoble. Had to look up Seager, he's at Dorking.

By the looks of it Peterborough very much had a reserve team out and played with 10 men for the last 30 minutes.

2 times in 2 home games Burnley have had to release a statement after their fans do something stupid.
-
Winning a made up European trophy for also rans doesn't exactly mean they are champions of Europe because that's obviously Man City. Seems like they enjoyed it though.
-
And then people clap, haha. That gets me every time. As for the music, it's shit and it spoils the celebration because it comes on while people are still cheering and shouting. If they are going to have tinpot stuff like this at least wait until people have stopped celebrating ffs.

How does 116/117 account for 95%? Said it before but the pass for the first goal was something special.
-
He had 99.1% passing accuracy from 117 passes yesterday which is just nuts.
-
He's played like that in every game he's come on as sub. What he was done well though is keep possession ticking over.
-
Palace do seem to like buying non scoring strikers. Much like us it's been a problem area for them for years which they seem incapable of addressing. Signing Che Adams is not the answer.
-
Was surprised to see him on the pitch after celebrating with the players and clapping the fans. Would have thought he'd have been first down the tunnel.
-
He seems a bit dozy, gives the ball away too easily at times. However he set both goals up and the pass for the first was sublime.
-
Maybe they didn't go today and that was why there was a weird bunch of seats up the back of the Chapel that no one was sat in. Very strange to see that in a game that I thought was sold out.

That was "can you smell what the Rock is cooking" wasn't it?
-
I don't understand what's wrong with it? Surely it's just a shortened version of "cooking up a storm."

One thing we need to be more aware of with the ball in midfield is the runs the forward players make. Must have been at least 5 times today that someone made a great run which wasn't spotted, and a couple were by Fraser. If we can start picking some of those out we will create a lot more chances.
-
We'll be stronger than if Fraser was the replacement, that was my point. I agree it's unlikely anyone as good as Tells will come here but we really can't turn down that money for a player that cost us nothing and didn't really want to be here. You should wait until the transfer window closes before stating that our 1st 11 will be weaker because there's a lot that will happen in the next 5 days.
-
Or that we could have Downes on loan which looks like a very good piece of business on today's performance.
-
Fraser not being the replacement is good news. Not that he's bad, just means we get another player and therefore will be stronger.
-
Excellent first game. Can only imagine he'll get better too. Our midfield is so strong now.
-
Did well. Very tidy and composed in possession. Made good runs, looked very comfortable.
-
I wonder how bad Stephens' injury is. At least we have cover there now with Holgate in and the possibility of another CB too. Thought Charles did a good job today back there, and his composure in bringing the ball out gives us more control in possession.
-
Solid game. Very good save in the first half and commanded his 6 yard box well. Whoever said McCarthy should be playing is so wrong it's laughable. Imagine him trying to play the ball out calmly like Bazunu did today.
