Playing for Lens. Regular starter, was very good last season apparently.

I've seen him referred to as a "cunt" on here, I'd say that's hatred. Not sure why the various people in charge of recruitment and goalkeeper coaching from Gazzaniga until now are trying the same policy.

They were never shit in the first place though. If they were they wouldn't have turned out to be fine keepers now. Not many young keepers can be developed to the point where they are genuine starters and perform to an excellent standard in the top flight at a very young age. De Gea was dodgy when he first came to Man Utd. Chelsea fans hated Kepa. Both were older than Bazunu was last season. I have no doubt we need another keeper challenging for the first team spot but there's a few who need to lay off a bit, some of the hatred show towards him is irrational and unnecessary.

This is why when people say Bazunu is shit and will never improve that they are wrong. Also, why were people booing Angus Gunn yesterday?

His starting position is aggressive but fine. That is very much where any modern keeper would stand. In the picture attached the biggest danger at that moment should be the ball whipped along the floor into the front post area which is why he is stood where he is. However what we also see is the moment when Bazunu tells Stephens and Bednarek to watch Sergeant but they ignore him and end up marking the same man. We also have LB and LM stood next to each other, neither putting any pressure on the cross. There's so much going on here that is obviously wrong. No pressure on the cross. CB's ignoring the keeper. No challenge on Sergeant. If any of those happened it's likely the goal isn't scored.

I'm sure we'll see an actual defensive midfielder play in this one as they have some quick players and will trouble us like Norwich did if we push forward that high. No idea who will win. Even after 2 games the Championship just seems all over the place which is great.

I don't mind crossbar challenge. The relay is better but only when it's close as mostly one team are so far ahead it's a bit pointless. Reckon they should do the relay with adults rather than kids at some point. Also do it by area, so you have Sholing Vs Thornhill or something. Would be much more entertaining.

I have a bit of sympathy for the CB's yesterday due to the team set up which meant they were massively exposed pretty much every time we lost the ball. Quite often there were 3 or 4 Norwich players breaking at a point where we only had the CB's in defensive positions, they weren't helped by some of our other players who seemingly didn't appear overly enthused about tracking back to help out. By no means am I absolving them of any responsibility for some of the goals or other mistakes but I don't think they were completely horrendous. Also they did combine for the first goal.

Are you talking about the interview on Solent, because I heard that and he said was annoyed with the fact we let in 4 goals and we would work hard to stop that happening. Pretty sure he went on to say that's for him and the coaches to sit down and look at so he even took some of the blame. He was happy with how we attacked and the number of shots we had which was 30+.

Loads of middle aged people pumping their arms up and down to that is not what I'd call a great shout. Why not just let the crowd make noise by, you know, actually celebrating rather than almost forcing them into some "dur dur dur" chanting like they are at the fucking darts.

Atmosphere was alright. We have moved to Block 36 this season to escape the crushing boredom of the Family Stand. Just before their 4th the noise was loud. We were attacking well, creating chances. Armstrong ran 50 yards back to tackle their player and a combination of Bazunu and a defender blocked that 1v1. Then they scored and naturally it dropped until the last 10 minutes. I see Block 1 is still closed. I thought that was going to be open again this season?

We had no defensive midfielder until Charles came on so there were numerous times when Norwich strolled through acres of open space at will. This meant the CB's were badly exposed, see their second for an example where the player had loads of time to pick a spot. As neat and tidy as Smallbone is he isn't a CDM and won't be able to cope with the defensive part of that role. I think Charles needs to play, although it did make for a very exciting, open game.

That was a lot of fun. This season is going to be edge of the seat stuff sometimes and I'm bang up for it

How do you know we have no one lined up? Do you work for the club?

From what I read most people want another keeper. How many people exactly are you talking about? You have to apportion blame where it's due at the time. He's done nothing wrong today. Would be much more prevalent to be having a go at the defence in front of him for allowing 2 free headers and an unchallenged shot.

Seemingly yes. None of those were his fault whatsoever.

Reckon we'll have a lot of high scoring games this season. 3 good finishes from them, although assisted by some poor marking for goals 1 & 3.

Seems like a leader and a decent, sensible bloke. Would imagine he's a very popular member of the dressing room. Doesn't matter that he was on loan last season, that was a decision made by the old management team.

Was saying to the kids on Tuesday that our support is weird. We turn up in pretty big numbers but sometimes barely sing.

There was a video of him playing that table tennis ball in a cup game that the club have been putting out. So he's been around, maybe going in for physio or light training.
