  1. Because I work at Pompey Uni we get the opportunity (if you can call it that) to enter a ballot for free tickets. Bloke at work today put my name down for every game as a joke. Hopefully I won't be unsuccessful in the ballot and end up with tickets.
  2. Who watches Soccer Saturday anyway? Surely everyone is either at a game or watching a stream of a game.
  3. A little feature in the latest issue of WSC on Southampton Women. Thought some fans of the team might like to see it.
  4. Ok, found Annie's
  5. I don't think they have posted them anywhere. There's one called Package Holiday which references the Red Lion but the others are just played live.
  6. I don't think they have any songs about the football club, but there's a funny ramshackle local punk band called S0dds who have songs which reference stuff in the city. There's one about Annie's Cafe in Woolston, one about the Co-op around the corner and another about crashing their car into Redbridge roundabout. They are very funny live. In a ridiculous turn of events they even had this song played on Radio 1.
  7. There's a remix of an Orb song which samples Alan Green on radio 5 and mentions us right at the start.
  8. Those sticker things that people make of themselves to use on WhatsApp. There's already enough emojis, we don't need a vague likeness of your face to express the fact you think a comment is funny thank you.
  9. Birmingham getting new owners today by the looks of it. Pleased for them as the last owners seemed very shady. Not sure if they'll have a load of money to spend or not but will be a boost for them nonetheless.
  10. Who will be first to criticise the style of play?
  11. No idea, Martin mentioned it in his interview on the OS. “We've beaten competition from two clubs in the Premier League for him, which I'm really pleased about, because I thought the lure of that would make it difficult for us, but he's come here because he knows the work and he believes in it.”
  12. Perfect signing. Goes to show that a player can turn down the chance of Premier League football to play in the Championship if they want to.
  13. Funniest thing on this thread is people struggling with language changing. Words evolve to take on different meanings all the time. Anyway, back on topic. Really not sure about Holgate but then West Brom fans seemed to like him.
  14. M3. Sorry for my mistake. He was driving like an idiot, cutting people up.
  15. He was immense in that U18 final and played like he was a couple of years older than the others on the pitch. I'm pretty excited by this signing.
  16. Tella pretty much failed in the Premier League too though. Yes?

    Coronavirus

At what point in that schedule do we think he's fitting in his morning wank? I'm guessing it's during the sauna time or while he's out walking the dog.
  18. Surprised someone hasn't pinned the blame on him leaving before on Ankersen or Sports Republic yet.
  19. I once saw Fonte driving like a prick on the M27 near Winchester so, because of that, I don't want him back.
  20. Wasn't sure where to post this but it's Tory related so here will do. The full email sent to every one of George Osborne's wedding guests. It's going to make for an uncomfortable day! https://pastebin.com/3DRZpzDP
  21. Any relation to Rich Chorley? Also a numbskull.
  22. If you didn't grow up living within the sound of the bells from St Mary's church then you can fuck off and support someone else.
  23. Don't mind as long as they come from an SO postcode and not somewhere like Salisbury. Probably means it will have to be Smallbone or one of the U18's.
  24. Maybe their parents support Saints? Also better they support a team that's vaguely near them rather than just going for Man City or Utd. Their alternative I guess is to support their local non-league team but then a lot of Saints fans would have a closer one of those to where they live than they are to St Mary's. Where do you draw the line? No one in Eastleigh can support Saints because they should watch Eastleigh? What about Winchester? That's a Saints stronghold but they have a decent non-league side.
