Exactly. It's like saying batting against County bowlers is the same as batting against Test Match bowlers. The shots won't be as good in the Championship, strikers will take longer to react in certain situations. Obviously some of them can kick a football just as hard as Premier League players but it won't be with the same accuracy.

Excellent start to the race so far, much better having a couple of lumpy stages to start with rather than a dull time trial and a sprint day. A chance for Cav tomorrow but there's so many good sprinters in the race it will be very tough for him.

Will season ticket prices be released now and will you renew?

Seems like a bit of a shambles in the window to move seats. My mate was on hold for an hour yesterday morning because they messed up his renewal. He got through, moved his seat and they said they'd reserve the 3 next to him for me and ring me straight away but still haven't called. -
Very excited for the start of the greatest sporting event of the year tomorrow. Hopefully Cav will do it, the last stage of the Giro gives me hope he can grab the historic stage win he needs but it will be tough as there's a lot of excellent sprinters in the race and it's going to be unbelievably hectic in the sprints. Feel fortunate to have seen him win a sprint live back in his early days when the Tour of Britain came to Southampton and he blasted past everyone by Hoglands Park to take the stage.

Sholing sign Jake Flannigan which should be a great move for them. Stocking up on ex Saints players called Jake could be a decent policy for a Southern League team.

Just flicked through it. Was an awful game, no flow, very few chances for either team. Not as many nasty challenges as you might expect from a derby. Atmosphere in the second half was pretty poor. Not much singing going on at all. Delgado came on near the end and and showed some nice touches.

I won't be going because I am at a festival. I imagine me and my son will have enough aways to get you two tickets. Drop me a message when they go on sale.

My brother in law is a rugby fan and doesn't really like football although makes out he's interested and asks about Saints which is nice of him.

We're moving as a group, have a couple of mates and 2 other kids too so will have to speak to him. My other plan was to renew in the Family Stand and then just walk around to the Kingsland and sit in the posh seats in the middle as I imagine a lot of them will be empty. When we were getting terrible attendances in the Championship before I used to buy a ticket and then sit anywhere I wanted. Used to change ends at half time like non league fans do -

You're right, I must have added it up wrong. We are renewing so it's Family - £769 Kingsland Corner - £1037 Block 15 - £997 -
What would happen to the atmosphere if he goes? Around a third of our current chants seem to mention him.

Are Arcade Fire Big enough to headline? Not sure, especially as the last album was a relative flop and the rumours around Win Butler's sexual harassment. Next year likely something like Dua Lipa, Green Day, Harry Styles. Possibility of Blur if they continue playing together for another year. Foo Fighters apparently back in the UK in 2024 but not sure if it's the same time as Glastonbury.

Record prices are weird, I have things that aren't even that old by relatively obscure bands that go for £150+. While I don't like Courteneers at all it just shows how music has changed that a band that plays stadium size shows aren't particularly well known to the general public. Mind you I couldn't name a Taylor Swift song and she's one of the biggest artists on the planet and likely Glastonbury headliner in the next couple of years.

It's a bit annoying for me as I'd definitely move over there from Family Stand but I have 2 U18 tickets to buy so it works out cheaper for us to move to Kingsland Northam corner. Not sure why U18's are so expensive in Block 15 compared to other corners. -
There's always amazing new bands though, not listening to new music means missing out on so much great stuff. Yes, other bands are people (not only blokes, obviously) with guitars but they are playing their own music. Otherwise might as well just go down the Brook and watch a bunch of tribute bands.

Slowdive were incredible. Catching up on bits I missed. Shame got a decent moshpit going yesterday, such a strong live band. Loads of other stuff I need to watch back. Speakers Corner Quartet, Jockstrap, Viagra Boys, Barrington Levy, Black Country New Road and a bunch more. Will keep me going a while.
-
Some people play loads of sets. A couple of bands I know have done 5 or 6. I watched a bit of Astley, don't really get it myself. It's just a bloke singing another band's songs.

Won't be long before MLT will be severely limited in his choice of restaurant as loads of places will end up going cash free.
-
Plymouth will probably fill most away ends this season, especially where they haven't played that team for a while. Despite the drop off in tourist fans there should be decent attendances in most games around the league.

True. I heard he always drove the long way round to avoid paying for the Itchen Bridge.

I misread the end of your post tbf.
