Eddie Howe masterclass with a pretty much full strength team against a League 1 side that couldn't even beat us.

West Brom injury time equaliser against Chesterfield saved them from going out to a National League team. Boreham Wood got a draw against League 1 Accrington. Be interesting to see how Wrexham get on at Coventry.

It's fine when people call out bad performances but what riles me with a lot of fans is that they have an agenda and then belligerently stick to it. If a player has a couple of poor performances and then it means they are just shit and always will be. Maitland Niles is, I think, an average Premier League player who will have some good and some bad games. He was terrible against Lincoln, and looked lazy and disinterested. Today he was alright so fair play to him for playing better.

Thought we were better than them from half an hour in. I'd be well hacked off if I was a Palace fan, they went pretty strong and lost at home to the worst team in their league. The goals were a bit lucky but who cares how they go in if they go in. We definitely played more football today, started passing through the middle more comfortably and put some half decent moves together. Shows that we can compete when we play. Let's hope this is a turning point.

It's great, family run, all cooked fresh. I just found out it's closed until 15th January so we won't be going today now.

Talking of food, we're off to Los Tacos by St Mary's after the game. It's a great traditional Mexican restaurant in case anyone hasn't been or doesn't know about it.

Terrible first half of the first half but we definitely improved as it went on. Gained more possession, started moving the ball a bit quicker and playing in their half more. Still not creating much, hopefully the addition of Orsic will help change that. One thing we are so poor at is passing out of defence. Caleta Car is the least bad at it but Salisu just gives the ball away so easily it's ridiculous.

Maybe, although could depend on performance. More likely if we get an absolute humping by Mam City and then lose to Everton.

Done my same bet as last time, Lyanco and Zaha to be booked. Then those 2 plus Salisu. They got me £400 earlier in the season.

I'd imagine he'll be long done before this crop break through properly. A lot of them are still between 16 and 18. Makes sense to largely keep them together as a group and keep winning with the odd appearance in the first team matchday squad for experience.

Good call. Pity we're in such bad form because I don't think there's any option other than going strong tomorrow to try and get a confidence boosting win. Otherwise we could have played a youngsters and had a couple more on the bench.

Our form is pretty incredible. The Birmingham game was a last minute equaliser for them too.

Everton have been alright tonight. Created a bit. Grey is seemingly in good form and Calvert Lewin getting some more minutes to return back to full sharpness just in time to play against us.

So far Jones has had a youngster on the bench a couple of times, maybe it will be Dibling's turn tomorrow. Doyle played today as well so that rules him out. Is there likely to be a stream tomorrow does anyone know?

I commented earlier that I didn't think the crowd was as angry as I expected at the end, but then I sit in the Family Stand and was up where you are when the Rupert Lowe stuff was going on. Mostly during the game I could just hear Forest fans singing although I did note some of our fans joining in with them when they were having a go at Jones. In that respect, did he do or say something about Forest when he was Stoke or Luton manager? Their fans went in on him even before the goal so I wondered if he'd pissed them off somehow?

She wasn't DJing. We arrived halfway through it all and we're sat behind where she was. Looked like it was all pre-programmed in and she just made out she was pressing buttons. The music was also so predictable. Should have lobbed some random Aphex Twin in there to mix it up a bit, haha.

Fair point. In that case Chelsea recruited a manager from the Championship. He was crap there and Everton still have him a job. Probably would have been better with a Championship manager, haha.
