Payne, Ballard and Morgan definitely do. Cameron Bragg too I think. Luke Pearce I believe is just too old for U18's now.

Sorry, second game. Drew 3-3 with Villa last weekend.
  3. The Cat

    U18s

First game of the season today away to West Ham. 1200 kick off.
  4. Lewis Payne. The U21's are playing later so if there's any chance he'll be part of the squad on Saturday he won't be involved today.
  5. What if we had a bunch of fullbacks on a list, made enquiries and found that for, whatever reason, none were available. Would you then scramble around and try to sign any random full back, even if they weren't on your original list, or maybe just leave it and cover the position with what you have until Livramento is fit? Especially if doing this allowed slightly more money to be spent on another crucial position that needs covering, like, say a striker? All this has to come into consideration when you are working within a budget.
  6. Not sure I'd bother with social media if I was a top level player, seems more hassle than it's worth. It was obviously a red card, the bloke is an idiot for shoving his head in Andersen's face. Not really sure how anyone could think otherwise.
  7. That was a bit bizarre. Felt sorry for the 2 lads who only got a short go. I'd like to see Sammy and Mary give it a proper go in goal as well, a full length dive to tip one around the post would be great. As an aside, was the balls on cones around the edge of the pitch a new thing? Speeds up the game a little as no waiting for balls if they get shanked into Row Z.
  8. Most drink city centre because there aren't any pubs around the ground. We always go to Prince of Punjab near the cricket ground because it's a pub that does amazing curry. Actually gutted I can't go on Saturday and mainly because of that.
  9. Shit, just saw the post above.
  10. Swansea v Millwall, what a crazy finish to the game
  11. It really isn't a "fucking toilet" at all. There's obviously better cities but also many, many worse. Seems like hardly any Premier League footballers live in their cities anyway. Even the Chelsea lot who could live in the poshest part of London end up in Surrey because it's where they train.
  12. I don't see many people giving him a free pass though? Plenty of people criticise when it's due and likewise praise when we play well. What's the line? If we aren't marching to the stadium with banners asking for him to be sacked then we are giving him a free pass?
  13. Agree with that. We got some good moments from him as a 3rd/4th choice CB. A few goals and also the superb shithousing of the weasely Bruno Fernandes. I wish him well.
  14. Morgan has played for England youth. The kid I know in the U18's says he is amazing.
  15. There were a fair few around us in the Family stand. Some regulars either didn't renew, moved seats or were on holiday as well. Ether that or they're all fed up sitting near us.
  16. Didn't notice any Leeds in the home ends, did anyone else?
  17. Only seen the highlights but they looked pretty terrible and were lucky to get anywhere near Arsenal, one freak own goal and the second when Ramsdale completely messed up his set and let the ball go through his legs. Add in expected departures of 2 of their most influential players and we have a chance.
  18. Just got around to watching MOTD. Nice to see the pundits saying Ralph had the "tactical nous" to make the formation change that led to the comeback.
  19. Surprised you aren't boycotting Saintsweb in that case.
  20. People referring to Bella-Kotchap as Ketchup. Fucking grow up. Largely the same people that say Chelski, Spuds, Wet Spam, Arse-nil, or any other HILARIOUS version of a clubs name. As an aside, now Chelsea aren't Russian owned surely that name is now obsolete?
  21. They played Sit Down by James followed by Stand by REM yesterday. I quite enjoy the half time music theme, it's just a bit of fun. Also good to see the relay back at half time.
  22. After the second goal there was a long postmortem amongst the defenders on the pitch, none of whom seemed happy with each other. Bednarek was particularly vocal and was also complaining about something to the ref before we kicked off again. Personally I don't have an issue with people being upset when they are subbed. It shows passion and that they care. He could have been upset with being subbed, or upset by his own performance.
  23. I was actually surprised how quickly they finished. Was a quick chorus after the second goal but I didn't hear much after that. I had thought the atmosphere would have been toxic if we were a couple behind. In his interview afterwards Aribo commented about the fans staying with the team even when we were losing.
  24. Annoyed the fixture list has worked against me with this one because I like going to Leicester but we're away on holiday. Wouldn't be surprised if we started the team that finished yesterday but maybe Stu Armstrong instead of Mara and use him as an impact sub from the bench. Certainly our best chance of a win there since we beat them 2-1 with 10 men and Shane Long scored the winner.
  25. The Jackson link comes from the ever reliable Footy Insider and is buried in an article about Everton wanting him. https://www.footballinsider247.com/sources-everton-set-sights-on-signing-nicolas-jackson-amid-27m-release-clause-reveal/
